It works but make sure you connect both
So, I haven't tested it properly yet but make sure you connect the USB 2.0 HEADER and the 3.1 Gen into your mobo header for extra power.This will power both/all usb ports you're trying to activate on your tower (if that's what you wanted to do)Akasa were very helpful on this occasion as I thought it was faulty.Manual didn't come with it as I had a Amazon warehouse deal

Works, but will break
The good: it works. Weirdly it requires the new usb 3.1 header and a usb 2.0 header connected to workThe bad: the pcb is the thinnest and most flimsy I've ever seen and it will break with any flexion
