Sea Salt, Fine (kalas) 26.4oz

Purchased this years ago from a Greek grocery store and have used it ever since.

Choices for a natural salt that is iodized are slim and none. This is a really nice one. It's sort of medium-milled, not fine, not coarse, so it dissolves when you want it to (during cooking) and stays crystallized when you sprinkle it on top. We're not thrilled with the bottle, which is too clever for its own good. The flap on the lid broke almost immediately, and pouring out a teaspoon is not a simple process. Just give me a simple container I can stick a spoon in, thanks.

I like this sea salt because it has potassium.

We bought our first in Corinth Greece and it is now a part of our must haves for cooking and eating, best salt yet.

Some of the sea salt you buy, especially the pink sea salt does not have iodine which is essential for our bodies. This is a great product and I use it exclusively when cooking.

My spouse traveled to Greece last year for work and returned with a container of this iodized sea salt they had bought to put on their fresh tomatoes. I fell in love with it and now am buying it regularly.Is it different that other sea salt? I couldn't say. I mean, it's salty. But there's something about it I love.

THE PRODUCT HAS NO SAFETY SEAL, IS WIDELY ACCESSIBLE AND HAS NO REFUND/RETURN POLICY. I have ordered this once before. Either I did not notice the seal missing or there was one so it didn't cross my mind. Either way, this was wide open with no seal and is not returnable. My first bottle was good but not worth using from an open container that has switched multiple hands and warehouses.
