The item is handy and a good value. The down side is the small opening for the cup or glass. It's big enough for a canned drink or a mid sized solo cup or a glass with completely straight sides.. The cup holder leans outward when clipped to my bed side table. That's not a problem for me. I've purchased the mid-sized solo cups as I don't drink from cans. I like the cup holder and use it everyday. Just wanted to point out some negatives for buyers who definitely would have a problem.

I had been wishing for something secure and solid to fit on the side of my bedside table to hold my coffee, and saw this advertised. I read the description and immediately bought it. It is exactly what I needed and I'm very pleased that someone had the good idea, and constructed this clip-on. Now I don't know how I got on without it. It is well made and hold a thermos of coffee easily.

Very sturdy, ready and easy to install. Lost a star because the cup holder side is only built for cups with a smaller base. My double walled insulated water cups, most of my mugs, the small Yeti I got for my birthday... None of them fit in it. You can use the other side to hold bigger cups by taking out the divider, but then what is the point of the cup holder?

I loved the idea of clipping a cup holder to my desk and having an extra holder for small items. However, there's barely any space between the ring and the bottom where your drink would sit. I should've looked at the photo more carefully. You can see how there's only maybe a couple inches which really isn't much if you have a bottle or anything taller than a 12 oz. can. The little bins next to that are really little. The clip itself is big and the thing is actually more sturdy than I thought it would be. Once it's clipped on, it stays put and doesn't not wobble very much. I'm not sure I would recommend this product unless they figure out a way to make the cup holder and bins much deeper.

Works fine. Sometimes I need to push it back on my standing desk after I've gone over door jambs and it's wiggled around a bit, but it has never fallen off or allowed my water bottle to fall out. Definitely a useful product and suits my needs. The cup opening will not fit all my various waterbottles, but that's a minor issue that I solved by making sure I only use certain bottles at work. No big deal.

This cup/phone holder is perfect for swing.

It is what I wanted for my small space. It fits my desk, I can have my water bottle or any drink without worrying that it can spill. It is sturdy but it does not fit a coffee mug. For coffee lovers, use a coffee cup. The extra compartments is a plus. Ill be buying another.

Tried this out last night. For my use, it worked perfectly. I do hope it holds up over time, but this was definitely a good purchase. But you will need a table that the clamp can hold on to. Which is what I have and I am very happy with the purchase. I play cards and my elbows kept getting in the way. That stopped last night.
