Portable ice maker.
I bought this ice machine for someone that goes to the river in Arizona every year and it worked very well as soon as he got it connected and the second year he has a few issues with it but now it’s working perfectly fine he had to reset it and he loves it and it makes very good. Lots of ice for him

Poor customer service. Poor craftsmanship
This product just isn’t worth it. Mother board died after unplugging the machine to clean it. Plug back in and none of the controls work. Light on but dead otherwise. Email back and forth from China and they send me a replacement motherboard board. I take it apart and replace and back to working. Well that last 4 whole months and she’s dead again. Also, when replacing the mother board I found a lot of moisture and corrosion on the sub panel. VEVOR said this is normal and also noted they don’t expect the product to last more than a year. I was shocked but then it all made sense, Cheap Chinese manufacturing and you get what you pay for. Too bad cause when it worked I was very happy with it.Also, don’t use the supplied water filter as it will send white chalky residue through your ice machine. We have a water softener and filter system and once I bypassed the filter the ice was beautiful and the white chalky junk was gone

Couldn't be happier.
So, I'm a fiber artist and need ice to make my art. I can't call the business "ice cold dyes" without the ice part. Anyway, I was spending at least 300 a year on ice, so I figured I'd give this a shot.I like to think I'm competent at most things. I'm not a plumber, but I've Plumbed if you get the idea. Unboxing is easy, it's kind of awkward to move as it's heavy and a lot of it is made of plastic. I don't have a hole in the basement floor, so I had to elevate it. I used a milk crate and the wood it came on in the packaging to get it off the ground so water could drain.I bought a Y shaped hose splitter with individual on/off knobs. I also had to buy a 1" to 3/4" adapter. Attached to the cold water line for my washing machine, hung the filter in the wall, and plugged the line into the ice machine. This process took all of 10 minutes. You turn it on and it flashes zero. You can press up or down. Up means more time in the base cycle (thicker cubes). Down means less. I am finding -4 is about right for my art. It's easy to use. There's probably more features but I don't need em.It's fast. Almost too fast. I will turn it on and it will be full in... No more than 90 minutes? I haven't actually timed it.Getting it out quickly is not happening. I'm going to order a metal scoop because the plastic one that came with it feels like it's gonna break. But whatever. It works, it's quiet, and the blue light makes me feel like I'm in a spaceship. If it lasts a year, it's more than paid for itself. If it lasts 2 and breaks, I'd buy another if I can't fix it.

So far so good
We got this to use all summer while we glamp on land we own. Keeping ice in drink cooler was super expensive so we got this. It easily kept up with our needs. Had to buy a couple of parts to hook up to outdoor faucet but not really a problem. My only complaint is that it’s nearly impossible to adjust it so ice doesn’t come out in sheets of cubes instead of individual cubes. Not an issue for the ice chest but did get tedious when we tried to use it for drinks. The real test will be how it works next summer after it’s sat unused for the winter. 🤞🏻

This machine is useless.
I don't understand what the point of an ice maker with a storage bin is if it doesn't actually store ice? You have to connect it to a drain because water is constantly melting in it. This is a long term option like you would have when you buy a refrigerator. If and when you would need it for commercial use, it would have to be installed by a drain? The entire unit is not even air tight, no way to keep the cold in. The door has large gaps, no seal. The top metal cover of the unit has no seal, you can see the light right through it and that air leak goes straight to the storage bin. I mean what is the point of it, I don't get it, this machine is virtually useless?

Good value
Arrived well packaged, no damage. Connection was simple. You need a water source similar to what you would use for a refrigerator with an ice maker. You need about a 1 inch drain opening. You need a 110v source for power. It comes with a short set of supply and drain lines. It also comes with a water filter. I replaced the water filter with a quick change filter from local BB store. Also purchased longer supply and drain lines while I was at it. Hookup was simple as I had a location where everything was available, water, drain, and power.Machine made ice right away. Simple to start and stop. Quality of ice is excellent. The storage tray is not refrigerated but when full it will hold ice and keep cold. When in use the ice will slowly melt and new ice will form on top. When not in use, simply shut it off and empty the ice, or just let it melt. Clean cycle is simple and easy to do.Durably built exterior. Well insulated. Quiet operation.Added note: I built a stand for it to sit on. Makes it easy to get ice without having to bend over. We fill coolers and ice bags and it’s much easier when the door is about chest height.

Quick ice
Great ice machine! Makes ice super quick! We usually turn it off during the winter, we just fired it up again since it’s starting to get hot in February, makes ice every 22 minutes
