I’m absolutely in love with the Boox Palma 2 so far and have already gotten so many compliments and questions from friends! After reading up a lot about it before officially buying it, I decided to buy this on Amazon instead of direct for the peace of mind of getting a protection plan. I love how it’s small enough to fit in my pocket with my phone, but still the perfect size for reading. I don’t have a case yet and it feels pretty sturdy, but I may invest in one soon just in case. The battery hasn’t died since I bought it almost a week ago, so that’s pretty great! I was worried about the price, since it’s pretty expensive for an e-reader, but I don’t regret splurging on it at all. I do somewhat wish I bought the white version but I do really love the black.

I use this specifically for my many apps to access books and audiobooks. Understanding that this device is e-ink technology will help with realistic expectations.I enjoy it because I can toggle between my different reading apps, and don’t need to carry multiple e-readers. I can also play audiobooks from the speaker or with headphones (via Bluetooth connection). It’s my main device when listening to audiobooks with Libby, Hoopla, CloudLibrary, and Audible. Which means I don’t need to have my phone on me, so I limit distractions. I’ve been more productive without the temptation to scroll through videos on my phone.I have no regrets with this purchase.

Yes, it's definitely on the more expensive side, but it’s been a game changer for me.What I Love:Ultra-slim and light: It’s so compact that it feels like carrying a phone, not a bulky e-reader.App flexibility: You can download all your favorite reading apps, thanks to full access to the Google Play Store.Customization: It’s completely customizable in terms of layout, apps, and functionality.Best E Ink screen I’ve come across: Includes a yellow light option for night reading and even a no-light option.Physical buttons: You can use the volume buttons to turn pages, which is incredibly satisfying and useful.Battery life: Better than a phone. I get about a week and a half of constant reading out of it.A Few Drawbacks:Price: It’s more expensive than other e-readers. If size isn’t an issue for you, the cheaper brands may still be a better value.Occasional glitches: It can freeze sometimes and takes effort to reset when that happens.Fingerprint sensor issues: Mine never worked properly, even after resets.Would I Buy It Again?Absolutely. For someone like me—who prefers reading on a phone due to size and portability—it’s the perfect in-between. But if you’re already comfortable with traditional e-readers and don’t mind the bulk, a less expensive model might make more sense.
