Fun engine model
Fun model to assemble, if you are interested in that kind of thing. It is a little bigger than i expected but that's okay.Plan to spend some time organizing pieces and be prepared to use a little guess work on some of the instructions, but nothing too difficult.

Model
Need to have numbers on pieces and lot better direction on how to put it together. put number on parts and on the pages.

Very detailed and sophisticated build. Instructions OK.
This building set renders a very nice looking V8 engine model.Mould King makes excellent buildable models and their bricks stack and assemble very well. This engine is part of a series of engines that they offer, that are very detailed and well designed to achieve beautiful displayability and functionality. The colors of the bricks are homogeneous. In some rare occasions, the larger bricks may have assembly challenges, but for this set, it wasn't' the case. This build is very enriching and fun.The instructions material are of very good quality, well printed and clear. Like other instructions from Mould King, I think their assembly methodology is not natural for some people. However, they provide all the detail necessary to build the model well. The addition of a small motor and battery gives this build the great touch of movement. Making this small model to rotate and give the visual functionality observed from an engine running.

A fun little kit
My wife and I assembled this kit over a few evenings. We were both impressed by the quality of the model and the actual parts, which were very ... "name-brand"-like ... The assembly is a little fiddly, and there's some strangeness in the design (like half of the moving parts are invisible when complete -- like the pistons and crankshaft). But it's a nice value, and a nice middle-ground build, complexity-wise.The instructions were good. That said, the colors and printing make it sometimes hard on steps to figure out what part of the model is being referenced. The parts are highlighted in red, but the contrast isn't great, so real good lighting helps.Still, a fun kit for a good price.

An ok 750 Piece Lego Compatible Motorized Engine.
The media could not be loaded. Thanks! Another interesting motor kit from Mould King.A small box holds the two numbered stages, two stickers, a clear instruction book and the motor & battery box. The battery box requires 6 AA batteries, not included.Build wise this is trickier than some of the others in the series. The parts do not stay together as well, especially towards the end, it is easy to knock parts off. It is a little fiddly in places & delicate. If have not used a Mould King engine set before, it may be best to start with their smaller 552 Piece V8 set and build up to this as it is trickier than the bigger ones in my opinion! That black lever you see in pics and vid does not do anything, I thought it would have! Overall, an ok set that can challenge & needs a little patience. Thanks again!

Mould King V8
Mould King is one of the better known Chinese building brick companies. This is one of at least two V8 engines that they offer. I like the other one (set #10171 better). This one is similar but the most interesting things going on inside the engine (e.g. the pistons and the crankshaft) are hidden from view. So while you can power up the engine with the included motor and battery pack (batteries not included), all you see are turning gears at the ends of the engine. This is almost entirely a Technic-style set. Technic can be a bit tedious to assemble, though the only thing I found odd in this set was the description of some of the parts as "plated" because they could not represent them graphically (the shiny silver pieces). The engine connects to a faux transmission with a non-operative shifter lever. The quality of the parts are okay but noticeably different (sometimes thinner) than what I expect. I would keep these parts separate from the real ones. There are two stickers. I did not notice any non-standard parts.

Soo cool!
I love these kits. I’m a car guy as well as a LEGO collector, so these are made for me. The detail and functionality are awesome, and the power functions bring it to life. Mould King certainly makes a great product. The bricks are high quality, and fit as good as LEGO. The instructions are well done and easy to follow. This is a must have for gear heads and LEGO fans!

Makes for hours of fun as it's built and then a great, functional display item.
LOTS of small parts! Lots of fun, too. A bit time consuming to build but totally held our grandsons' attentions. They were thrilled when, at completion, it worked just like a real engine. Parts are well made and design is well thought out. Makes for hours of fun as it's built and then a great, functional display item.
