So, here are some important things to know. 1. This is a great machine and for Grad Parties, etc. serving 300 cups/cones is no problem. 2. Check your settings. If your ice cream is too soft do a few thins. Hold the setup button for 5 sec which brings up transmission speed. Press the "Hard" button to increase from speed 3 to 6. For me, this produced the best product. Lastly, if your belts start making a squeaking sound, don't sweat it. Simply take the 4 screws that hold the left side on off and tighten the belt. Very happy with this.!

Don’t get this unless you have a background as an ice cream machine technician. It is not user-friendly AT ALL. You get random beeping throughout the operation and no error messages that are useful or help guide you to troubleshoot. Spend some time reading reviews and watching online videos on this machine before purchasing. I did and, I have an engineering background, said to myself “how hard can it be, I do all of my maintenance in the shop”. This is a waste of time and it wastes a lot of product. This review is after a few weeks of use and giving it the benefit of the doubt at first since I’m a new user.

Makes great ice cream but it kept tripping our generator off during an event with our food vending trailer. The generator is 11,000 watts so there should be plenty of juice. The fluctuation of power draw when it's set for "soft" seems to cause this. A count down begins and trips off every 5 minutes. Annoying! When we set it to "hard" this didn't happen. (So far) (and the ice cream was fine) Also, there is not much room between the dispenser spout and front of the unit so I am unable to swirl a nice pretty stream of ice cream into a waffle bowl. The width of the bowl impedes maneuvering. I had to serve it in a random wild pattern in the bowl. Lol

Let me preface, after watching a YouTube video I can now use and enjoy the machine. I found the instructions useless so I googled ice cream recipes and that was a total failure. Because the instructions were bad (at least to me). The paddle froze to the sides within 5 minutes into the ice cream cycle. Not yet ready to return it, I went to YouTube and found someone who was reviewing the product. He went through step by step and explained everything. Because instruction book gives metric measurements I went to product website and followed their US measurement recipe. Basically dump ingredients into container, turn to mix, then to ice cream setting and after 40 minutes, got to taste delicious, creamy ice cream. Hate the instructions LOVE the ice cream maker!

We wanted to love this!! The ice cream is great, but two problems, the machine is very loud while it’s making the ice cream in addition to constantly beeping and the biggest problem is that it only makes 3 cups at a time then you have to wait for 15 minutes for it to make more before serving the rest of your group. My grandkids were crazy about it but it won’t work for us. Also, each time you clean it it measures the water you run through IT and add that to the number of servings you’ve made lol so it looked like we made a ton but mostly we were cleaning it thoroughly. Considering the bigger size but that one is even heavier than this monster so no sure if it’s worth it.

The machine is very heavy weight a little over 200 lbs, I’m using this on my food truck, it’s a awesome machine, the only problem I’m having is that it keeps shutting down when it comes back from count down mode, this machine takes so much power, I purchased a Westinghouse 11000 watt generator, the machine keeps kicking the reset button on the generator. I now wish I would’ve bought a less wattage ice cream machine, I don’t think a standard house plug outlet would even work seeing it’s a 24 amp unit.
