These are great! Because the light bulb sits on a little platform, you can just lift the light bulb out when it needs to be charged and don't have to unscrew the whole thing. This was great for me because the lamps are high and difficult for me to reach. Remote allows you to adjust the brightness the color and many other options. I couldn't be more pleased. Haven't used them long enough to speak to how long it holds the charge.

Where have these been all my life? Absolutely Amazing!!! I have two antique lamps in my home that are no where near an outlet. I probably wouldn’t trust the original cords anyway. These color changing rechargeable bulbs solved my problem instantly and now I can enjoy these gorgeous lamps every day. The quality is great and once screwed in, the magnetic bulb pops off for recharging without having to unscrew the entire piece. Definitely ordering another set…A must have!!!

Great classic look but modern light output

These light bulbs are easy to use and my kids love that they change colors. I liked the remotes, and other attachments to allow the bulbs to be used in multiple different settings. What I didn't like: when you turned on the light bulb with the power button (and not the remote), you have to go through all the color settings before it will turn off; there is no long-hold on the power button to just shut it off. When compared with a regular light bulb it is not as bright, and did not work well in the area I expected to use it. If you are looking for just ambient lighting, this is for you. I do like that they are rechargeable and will be keeping them with our emergency lights in the event our power goes out.

I bought these to go with my new wall sconces that I didn't want to hardwire and they work great! I have 2 double sconces so i ordered 4 of these bulbs and one remote controlls them all. I didn't think I would have any interest in using the color light features but suddenly I am so excited for Halloween and all the holiday fun with these! I can't speak on battery life just yet but i love that i can simply grab the bulbs off the base instead of grabbing a ladder to unscrew it. So far, happy purchase for the money.

Flawless

Love these bulbs. They are designed to fit into a socket lamp and they are rechargeable..woot..woot. Another cool thing is that, once you have them in place, you can easily remove them ( without unscrewing the light) because they are attached to their base by a magnet. You can quickly remove them, to recharge or to use for a temporary flashlight. They have lasted ,at the least, 16 hours on the bright cool mode. If you are in close proximity to it, you can just reach up & turn it off, by pressing the recessed button ( you will have to go through 7 different light modes before it goes off) Or you can use the remote, which will let you turn it off immediately. When using the remote, you can pick an array of colors and even choose whether you want the colors to switch on their own. You can have the color transition happen slowly or quicker. You can set the timer from 30min up to two hours. It also comes with a magnet base, that allows you to hang the bulb. These would be great for a temporary sconce, or a paper candle lantern because no wiring is needed. You can also take it off it’s base and just use it for a quick flashlight….The style is awesome.
