Best keyboard among the other brands in this 10,000- 15,000 range
Bought this keyboard with doubts due to the reviews on the internet, but only because of the trust on Roland brand. Now I'm happy more than the expectations, it's build quality, design, and almost realistic instrument sounds are beautiful than the others keyboard brands in this range.

Decent Value for your Money.
Not a single helpful piece of review from our fellow countrymen. Anyways, I m gonna write down some to help others out, which I was seeking during pre purchasing phase.1. Packaging: As Expected. Well packed. Whats in the box: Keyboard, Music Stand, Manual, Adapter. At first you might not notice where the adapter is. Its glued in the above corner of the left side thermocal. Dont panic. No Bag included.2. Sounds: SO the most important factor for me was sounds. For the price you pay, you get few decent sounds. The Grand Piano sound is good at this price point. We can ramp it up by applying the Hall reverb, or adding the DSP effect. Its nothing comparable to VST pianos, Or Roland FP 30, or Motif. It has only 3 velocity samples, so not much dynamic level. Anyways at this price point you can not expect that. Acoustic Pianos are also an usable one. Connecting it with stereo monitors gives much better sounds. Then we have 2-3 usable EP tone, Chromatic percussion tones are decent, anyways I dont use them most of the time. Bass guiter we have a few. Guitar, acoustic, electric reminded me of cheaper Casio tones. Strings hardly 1-2 usable. There are some good Sax tones. Lead and Pad tones are, again, Nothing special. Piano + Warm Pad, was good though. Drums, we got 3 -4 good kits if you want to practice finger drumming.I dont know why my Countrymen go gaga for Indian tones, provided the fact that Indian Melody is primarily based on Mir, or Slide, so a Keyboard never going to Replicate them well. A ROLI seaboard is coming closer though. Anyways I never found any decent Sarod or Sitar tone ever in a keyboard, even the VSTs fails to mimic them because of the articulations involved in the playing styles. Anyways Santoor, Harmonium tones are decent. Some of the Flutes are not bad.Just to add, comparing to Yamaha PSR E 453-463, I have not played them. For my keen youtube observation, EX 20 seems to have better tones, so I went for it. I do believe, the pianos are better at this price point than yamaha 453.3. Sound Box. Although mentioned wattage of the boxes are lower that 453, I got a decent volume from the box to fill up a small room. No Distortions. Low Piano Notes, EX cant reproduce them fully through in built speakers. Like these price range pianos, we got a bump in EQ curve around 500-1.5K, higher piano notes, reproduced superbly.4. Features: All expected and only necessary stuffs. Styles are good. Auto accompany is good. Memory Banks works as expected. Only preset reverbs, delay. Harmony and some other functions. One track Recorder. Anyways for features, I think Casio 7300 will go to the top with Mic In, edit Tones options. E 453 second with the Cutoff/resonance/DJ styles (which are of no use for me).EX 20 will come last.5. Synth action keys with pretty good resistance. Playability is definitely a plus for this.Overall, its a decent buy and value for money. If you are looking for better tones than other in this price point, you cant go wrong with this. For features, definitely Casio or Yamaha is better. I got what I was looking for , a practice keyboard with decent piano/organ/EP tones to hit my blues away. Casio CTX 3000/5000 looks exciting though yet to hit the indian market, anyway i dont think it will come below 25000. So for the money, decent Buy.

It is a good one.Good for upper than beginners and lower than professionals. As a customer I can say it is better than every keyboard under 20k infact from CTX 9000 .You will really enjoy it since it has 128 note polyphony which means more clear sound.Awesome delivery.Nice product.Recomendable.

Good Keyboard for beginners but quality could be better
It’s a good keyboard for beginners. I first ordered Yamaha PSR i500 but due to some problem had to return it. Then I ordered this Roland EX20. The sounds are more professional. The sweetness in voice that Yamaha keyboard has is missing in Roland. Also the overall build quality is not as good as Yamaha. The keys felt little flimsy as compared to Yamaha. But you get what you pay for. At this price range it is a good keyboard to begin with.It is lightweight as compared to other bulky keyboards which helps in portability.Overall it’s a good buy for those who want to start learning a keyboard.
