Q: Still confused. Does this product contain wheat?

I am not sure if it contains wheat, unfortunately it does germinate and has made a mess of our lawn!!

Q: had this twice now, and altho the birds like it, it is def not husk free. could anyone recommend a seed mix by the same co. that is really husk free?

It would be better if you bought a bag of no mess seed which contains, oat. pin head seed, and other fine seed as the birds at this time of year will prefer a finer seed. If you don't have any luck then try your local pet shop, they should be able to recommend a fine seed. Premium do a great range of seeds so you could contact them, If you are not sure. Q: I'm confused. The description at the top states "No wheat husk free formula", but the full list of ingredients includes wheat. Can you clarify?

We have used this supplier before...I have just been up to the bird feeder area and made a check of the area surrounding the feeder, there is no evidence of husks laying on the grass, and as I approached the area ,Magpies,pigeons,Blackbirds and Sparrows were all feeding off the seeds...but as I said no visible 'seed mess'. I buy this brand as it seems to live up to its claims.
