My 10 year old son has a recent urge to do puzzles and loves Lego’s … this was a great medium.It took him about 30 seconds to open the box and bags then immediately went to work. He built more than half within the first hour and said it was fun and challenging (in a good way).The instructions were very detailed and at the end, he was quite proud … and still is 2 months later.Definitely worth the money.

I ordered this for my grandson to put together while he was here for Easter. He worked on it for about 6 hours over 2 days and was so proud of himself. I never heard “I’m bored” once. He’s 10 by the way. It was a hit.

This was a fun build. I really like builds that include some level of motion, gears, lights... it just gives it a cool factor.This would probably have been five stars, but there were two small issues you should be aware of:1) Unless we lost something almost immediately, there was a missing piece that belonged near the sharks head. To this day, we have yet to find it, convincing me it was missing and not lost.2) There is one step for installing the light tube that runs through the shark where it just wouldn't stay in place. It required a bit of super glue and some crossed fingers in hopes that it worked and the super glue didn't interfere with light transmission.These werent deal breakers as I would still reccomend, but I kind of feel 5-stars represents flawless and this was very good... just needed some clever thinking.
