The box is very high quality and came un-damaged. It smells identical to Initio Side Effect. The first couple seconds smells a little weird (the alcohol has to go away) but after like 5 seconds it smells like Side Effect. I took a shower after wearing it for like 10 minutes and I still smell it just as strong as when I first sprayed it. The dry down is super good too. The inside of the box is super smooth and fits the cologne perfect. The cologne bottle feels super high quality and it has weight. It looks similar to Lataffa Badee al oud amethyst. The top says French Avenue, and the bottle is a darker color than the photos. The real bottle says “French Avenue” in the middle and “Extrait de parfum” on the bottom of the front. The bottom of the bottle has a gold looking plate with french avenue on it.

French Avenue is killing it! this is my second fragrance from them and it’s such high quality for the money. I’ve never had Initio to compare this to but I will say these smelly waters are sexy and unique better than anything from target. dollar for dollar scent for scent you can’t compete I will keep buying from French avenue and this seller they are amazing.

I'm guessing most people who are seeking this fragrance are looking for a good comparison to Side Effect by Initio. This was the exact reason I chose to give it a shot. In quick summary, if you have not had access to Side Effect in some time, or don't have an overtly strong sense of smell I think this is exactly what you are looking for. It is not a 100% match but very close.I compared both Side to Side on my wrists for an afternoon, initially using the new bottle (After Effect by Fragrence World.)Upon first spraying it, I could tell there was something missing in this formula, though I could not pinpoint all the differences until comparing them Side by side. The Initio blend has been my daily scent for the last two months, so it is fresh in my mind.Comparing and contrastingAfter Effect is significantly stronger than Side Effect. Both on initial spray and over an extended period of time. The 3-4 sprays it takes me with the Initio formula only take 1-2 with After Effect. While to an extent I like the subtle scent of Initios formula, given the steep price tag it has been one of the least satisfying aspects of that fragrence.I find After Effect to be a warmer scent. It is less complex, less boozy and spicy than Side Effect. While I have heard others review the Initio formulas "boozyness" as one of the lesser liked qualities- it is, unfortunately for me something I deeply enjoyed in the original fragrance.Mentioning the lacking complexity of Fragrence worlds formula, along with the warmness of it- Initios has a certain sharpness to the type of scent that it is. As it fades what stays is that sharp complexity. I like the subtleness of that.None of this is to say the fragrence world version is bad. Though I own two different sized bottles between the brands I find the quality of the packaging and bottles very similar in both appearance and application.I am very sensitive to slight changes in scent and taste and so I am hyper aware of the differences I described and more prone to being picky because of my fondness for my original fragrance. Because of the stark difference in price I am going to switch over to this version for the time being. Hopefully with time I'll grow to enjoy it in equal stride and save my Initio Parfum for special occasions.

I have looking for good Middles Eastern representations of Initio perfumes especially Psychedelic Love, Musk Therapy and Side Effect. I would be interested in others as well. I finally found this. It’s been so long since I have smelled Side Effect that I really can’t do a fair comparison……but to my memory it’s really good. I personally like Psychedelic Love better and I am still on the look out for a good version.This one is in a big beautiful deep purple bottle with a metal label. It looks and feels expensive. The atomizer is solid, it doesn’t stand out as stellar but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it either. I find it completely unisex. It going to work well for the wearer. It doesn’t have huge projection but I do receive compliments when I walk by others. I think that’s the main difference if I remember correctly Side Effect projected well. I have great longevity on my clothes. I sprayed it on paper to test and it absolutely has a high oil content. My bottle was produced six months ago so I expect it to get better with more age. This is a sexy smell. I wear what I want when I want but this is probably office safe if you don’t over spray. It’s deep rich and truly gorgeous. There’s tobacco, musk a little woody. Very nice. Great value.

It smells bitter! not sweet just a strong old bitter sent. I was so disappointed everyone said it was sweet.How royal purple would smell if it was a sent. All I can do now is rest it down, an magical ✨️ hope the sent changes after it macerates. If that is even possible.

Packaging is beautiful. Everything is good quality but for some reason my batch was extremely synthetic and hurt my lungs to smell. After just 2 sprays it’s very strong and lasts very long. It has some DNA from side effect but it’s definitely missing the main notes. Can’t put my finger on it. Just my overall opinion and this will vary from person to person. If you’re looking for a clone of side effect consider looking for something else. This one just didn’t do it for me.

I want to sure about the first 2 sprays. Then, I decided to let it sit for at least 2-3 weeks. After it settles down, I. Around 65° to 76° this is so seductive. But. The more warmth in the air...it can be a bit much. 1 - 2 sprays lasts me a full 10 hours. 3 to 4 sprays will be 24+ on clothes. Skin application 6 to 9 hours ( 2 to 3 hours strong projection )
