Green Kitchen Compost Caddy (5L - Small) - for Food Waste Recycling (5 Litre) - 5L Plastic Composting Bin

Nice product. Good size - I didn't want a large one as I prefer to don't like the food waste around too long and prefer to save space! Its got a slightly rounded look which probably helps it look more streamlined than the ones in many stores/from local authorities. For me it fits neatly in the "under the sink" cupboard or on the countertop (useful when preparing dinner so I don't have to keep getting it out). Appears to be quite well made and handle is very useful and seems robust. Slightly rounded shape should make it easier to clean out though as I use compost bags to line it I haven't needed to yet. Couldn't find these in shops at all so very pleased to have found it on amazon though the company look like they do some other , non-plastic ones as well.

I am so impressed with this caddy - I wanted a reasonably priced but well made item that would withstand quite a lot of use and I got it! I will definately be buying more from this company.

This is a basic caddy and the quality of it is reflected in the price but it is good enough for the intended purpose.I bought this as I was sick of looking at open cartons filled up with the festering remains of fruit and veg, all of which will start to attract fruit flies and start to smell.The lid can be 'locked' into place so no creepy crawlies can get inside and the caddy (mine is 5 litres) is the perfect size for stashing, unobtrusively on your kitchen work surface. It holds quite a lot, so you shouldn't have to trundle down to the compost heap with it every day.It cleans easily with warm soapy water; I don't use the bags with it, there's not much point adding more waste into the environment which defeats the point of recycling.I put all my veg peelings, mouldy fruit, forgotten, liquefying half-cucumbers and used tea bags in this and it doesn't leak or smell.I'd definitely recommend as it's practical and looks tidy. At such a cheap price, don't expect bells and whistles, just a basic, no-frills container.

Good little bin

Really pleased with this caddy, UK manufactured too. Its a good size to fit neatly in the cupboard (under the sink). It locks too with the handle. It isn't massive but then again you wouldn't want to leave veg trimmings in there for long, you need to empty it regularly which is fine.Recommend this product, great price too.

As described, good little size. We actually use with a 5L bag liner to store dog mess and it does the job perfectly. Looks neat and tidy in the corner of our garden. Good price too.
