Every trauma kit should have one of these. Granted, if you have to use it, your patient is having a REALLY bad day. However, these are small enough and cheap enough that you should have one in every kit. They are hermetically sealed and sterile. They come with a lubricant and look to be easy to manipulate. Definitely get training on how to use these via a stop the bleed course. They do however make a great addition to your kit because it keeps the patient's airway open so that you can use your hands to tend to other issues. Good price, too.

If you gotta use this, somebody is having a very, very bad day. Don’t buy unless you know how and why to use this.

These tubes are easy to insert, esp with the included lube. Amazon wants me to review the adhesion and absorbency too. So….. don’t buy this is you’re looking for something with adhesion. Because there isn’t any. Like none. There’s a good amount of lube though. Probably more than enough for what you need, so I’m sure you can find another useful purpose for the lube. Also, this product sucks in absorbency. Please don’t confuse this for gauze. But, if you're looking for that magical item that will help keep your tongue from blocking your airway, then look no further. Highly recommended: 10/10.
