Everyone has their own opinion about everything
Sometimes, you get unlucky and get a lemon. Other times, you get exactly what you expected, which turns out great. This is my opinion - This iGen4000c is amazing. It's very quiet and powerful enough to run my 13,500 BTU travel trailer AC unit, and the fridge. I'm still in the breaking period, so I haven't fully tested it, but I'm sure it will support the handful of 120 outlets I have as well. With the unit about 20 feet away from the camper, we can hardly hear it. Even starting next to it, you can have a normal conversation. Happy with this purchase and will likely upgrade to a larger one when I get a larger trailer.

We love our new generator!
Everything we were looking for! it's quiet, light weight and has wheels so doesn't even have to carried. AND it has a remote start!!! We are going to love it for camping remotely.

Quiet, and good quality for the price
Just received my Westinghouse i-gen 5000c. Super fast shipping everything was as described. Just added oil and was ready to go. Super quiet and love the remote start and stop. Also being blue is definitely a plus.

Good first impression
Just arrived. Added the oil and gas, connected the quick connects to the battery and it started right up. It may not be as quiet as my brother's $3000 generator, but it's MUCH quiter than the cheap old generator I had been using.It's attractive, not that that matters for power purposes.I like the guage on front that tells you voltage, fuel level, etc.A nice little surprise was the supplied cord that plugs into the generator to charge the battery. Much easier than removing it or trying to get charger cables in the battery compartment.The oil fill dipstick is 3 or 4 inches inside the casing, so hard to see and reach. They compensated for that by supplying a screw in funnel for oil filling. But that funnel isn't long enough to have the cup strait up when filling. So that access and filling is the only downside I've found so far.
