This works very well indoors. Have not tried outdoors where it is advised not to use it
I crashed my Tello multiple times until I learned you need to have good lighting to fly indoors or the Tello has a mind of its own. That is not to say that I am proficient at flying it yet, but now it is much more fun and less frustrating to learn to fly it since I don't have to worry about breaking it or replacing the propellers.
