Works Great
I wanted to have a garage camera for security and kids purpose, this fits well to my needs. I really like the magnetic holder approach because that made the life easy to install. My recommendation in the power port is, it could have been a usb-c installed of mini HDMI port, which is mostly outdated today's tech.It connect with the ring app seamless and I got it connected within minutes. Camera and Sound quality is gratifying and the videos recorded also looks good, I can able to customize many areas like notifications and the angle where the motions needs to be marked and very simple to use. It's not just for Garage even we can use it as a home camera, and access it from anywhere. So far no issue and no logs and will recommend it.

Great Value.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I purchased the camera to check on my puppy while I was at work . At the advertised price point, this camera goes above and beyond its value. It has a very easy setup and the phone application is simple and works well. The picture quality met my expectations and it even provides sound and night vision.

great camera
Love this camera, easy to install and setup, love the magnetic mount. Video quality is great, wish i could reduce the notifications but other than that this is a solid battery camera for outdoor use.

Great camera but does not integrate with Alexa
This is a great camera with good image quality both day and night. I bought the indoor camera for my garage, liked it a lot so I bought 3 outdoor cameras to replace my Arlo cameras.Setup was relatively painless. The camera was discovered by the app right away, connected to wi-fi and updated easily. The camera is installed with relative ease if your goal is to mount on a wall and just plug it in. There is about 15-20ft of wire with weatherproof fittings on both ends. If you are desiring a more refined installation with shorter or hidden wiring, you will need to drill, cut wire and solder in a new usb-a plug to your custom length of wire. It would be nice if Chamberlain designed a professional install kit to facilitate neater installation.Note: you will need the $99/yr 30-day all device storage subscription to be able to record your video. Not a bad deal if you are doing a multiple device installation. I have 5 video devices setup so it’s totally worth the price. My sole issue with the MyQ product line is that it does not integrate with Alexa. This make absolutely no sense to me since MyQ supports Amazon Key delivery. I would buy the new MyQ doorbell but not if it does not integrate with Alexa.

The definition of insanity!
I built an automotive shop in 2020 with three bay doors, each door has a Liftmaster opener that uses MyQ app and has worked flawlessly for the past four years. Black Friday 2024 rolls around and I buy Three MyQ Garage cameras for a decent price for added security when I’m away. I follow the steps to connect the cameras to the app, cameras pair to everything just fine during the process until I go to name the cameras and enter their location. (Why it needs a location entered is beyond me) and this message on all three cameras pops up; “ we apologize looks like we cannot update the name and location of your camera at this time, but it is in your device list. Please try to update name and location at a later time.” Light on cameras are solid green indicating a successful installation, however the cameras are no where to be found on my device list, so I reset the cameras and try again only to receive the same results. So after many attempts to reach someone from Chamberlain through an AI, I finally get a hold of a human that has me repeat all those processes over and over again (2hrs on the phone) just to get the same results. They even had my delete the app and reinstall it, reset my router, and they even told my I may need a laptop or an iPad to install it properly. All I have is an iPhone. When I try to scan the QR code on the actual camera in the MyQ app, I’m prompted with “we don’t recognize this QR code” At the end of this tech support call, nothing was fixed, tech support tells me they will escalate the issue to a supervisor and I should receive an email within 24-48 business hours, not days! What does that even mean? A full week? It’s been two days and have yet to receive an email with a solution. It just would have been nice to have one app I can connect my entire shop to was my thinking behind buying these cameras. I don’t think the cameras themselves are faulty. I just think the app is not working properly. And then reading other reviews on here it says that you need a five dollar monthly subscription for them to work? I had no idea about that. I can’t even get them to start working to begin with! You would think with everybody that’s paying five dollar monthly subscription that their tech-support and their app would work better! Thanks for nothing Chamberlain!
