Gives you stableness when getting into and out of your hot tub.
A needed item if you are unstable when getting into or out of your hot tub. Now that I'm older, I felt a bit unsteady when getting in my hot tub. It was easy to put together and is made of quality material including the rubber sleeve of the handle. I like that it has adjustment knobs for the height of the pole, and for rotating the handle. It looks nice and sits next to the hot tub steps.

Place before water in hot tub
Very sturdy. Only problem is I should have slid it under before water was added! LOL it still slides under and is stable but I'm sure it will fit better the next time I have to empty water.

Can you slip the base under your hot tub?????
I don't understand how you are supposed to slip the base under the hot tub. The picture shows it and the description says you can do it. But a hot tub full of water sitting on a deck or the ground does not have space below it to slip in the base.If you have an application where you can slip the base underneath, this seemed like a solid product.

Good quality
Only complaint I have is the screw that holds the pole is sloppy and doesn't get tight. It's sturdy but the design of the recess and the screw head is not great.

Even with the two rubber wedges provided, it still feels flimsy. But knowing it is stable due to the weight of the hot tub makes me feel comfortable using it
