I live in the Washington DC area and I have a 6x6 hobby greenhouse that i use to winter plants over. I run two mini space heaters that put out a max of 250 watts each on High. One of them stopped working near the end of winter and after inspecting it, I realized it was the mini fan that was not working but the heating element was still good. Due to the rising prices caused by COVID in the winter of 2022, this mini space heater which usually costs about $14.00 was selling for $30.00! I ended up buying this mini fan and I replaced the old fan. In order to attach it, i cut the wires and soldered them so i could use the existing harness that plugged into the mother board. I ensured that I matched the wattage as much as possible to the original fan. Since the body of the new fan was thinner than the original fan, I also used spare pieces of dense foam that I had and I attached them to the corners using a glue gun. So basically I was able to repair my heater for about $5.00 and now it works great.

One of the fans is rattling already. Not sure why. Since it's supposed to be a new ball bearing fan. I haven't used the other one yet. No telling if that one will also start to rattle.
