I bought this tool to pull the valves on a GL1200 Goldwing motorcycle. I ended up pulling the same valves at least three times between two different heads. This took held up great with zero flexing in the clamp. I hopefully won't need to use it again for awhile, but I'm glad I spent the few extra dollars on this tool versus the cheaper one that is a bent tube.One of the reviews here mentioned using a 12mm rivnut to keep the collet straight. That is the brass part in my picture. It worked perfectly.

The media could not be loaded. Came with different sizes for clamping onto valve heads. Simple and super easy to use. The slot in the holding piece was big enough to get my fat fingers in there and picks to push the retaining pins in place. Takes a second to get the hang of it but you can move fast once you understand it. Worked great doing a full 16 valve job while rebuilding my engine. The benefit of using this tool compared to those automatic spring clampers is the accuracy you can get by turning it where you want it to go. (Used on 2AZ-FE Engine)

Works perfect. Great for powersports type applications with smaller valve springs or springs that are down in the cylinder head. Decent enough quality for the price.

I only attempted to use the valve lapping tools and to be honest they failed miserably. Even in a cleaned valve they would NOT stick. I’m sure the compressor tool works fine but I used the lisle tool instead, much faster
