This lotion seriously saved my skin after a weekend of too much sun. I had some pretty uncomfortable peeling and dryness on my shoulders and chest, and this Burt’s Bees After Sun Lotion worked so well. It’s super soothing, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t feel greasy at all — just clean, cooling hydration.The aloe and coconut oil combo is perfect. It calmed the redness right away and made my skin feel soft and nourished. I even used it on my face without any irritation, which is rare for me with after-sun products.I love that it’s 98.9% natural and free from all the stuff I try to avoid (like parabens and SLS). Definitely keeping this stocked all summer long — highly recommend if you’re dealing with sunburn, peeling, or just need a gentle, hydrating lotion post-sun!

Will definitely be purchasing this again in the future!! I'm fair skinned and tend to burn very easily. I had purchased this product because I had read online that others were recommending it and my Son had gotten himself burned badly while at a lake at a graduation party. Unfortunately he didn't use it...but I did!! On the say I got the sunburn we were out of town and I only had access to aloe gel...but when we returned home the next morning I put it on right away. Have been applying it 2-3 times per day. On day 3 now, my skin is still pretty red but I don't have any pain, blisters or peeling!! The product has a bit of a weird smell to it but it's tolerable.

This lotion smells amazing, seriously like you’re in a spa. I wish I could bathe in it 😂. It’s also really effective on sunburns. I put it on directly after the beach and had no pain or peeling

Does an excellent job of moisturizing my dry skin after a day in the sun. Prevented peeling from a light sunburn. The consistency is slightly runny but the skin absorbs it nicely and it doesn’t feel greasy. The reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the scent isn’t that great. My son said it smells a bit like cleaner. But overall it’s a good after-sun lotion.

Love it! Not to thick, and great quality. No greasy feeling, applies smoothly. And it helped ease a sunburn on my 8 year old to the point he kept asking to have it applied. Definitely worth the cost too.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I just got it an hour ago because I have a sunburn so nasty I haven’t experienced it like this in 20+ years. No matter how much aloe and vitamin e options I applied, the pain was less than thrilling. I applied this and felt immediate relief. If it helps fade the sunburn I’ll be even happier. I’m very pleasantly surprised.

This moisturizes and absorbs very well but the smell isn't very pleasant.

This is my 3rd time buying this. It is amazing. It's very moisturizing, and not sticky (many after sun products are). It soothes and fades a burn. It isn't a miracle but it FEELS like it when your screw up and go from lobster red to light pink overnight!
