No fitting correctly for one of the indicated laptop

The First batter I purchased about 6 months ago!, That one worked great for 4-5 months, then when I moved back to using my MacBook at home connected to the charger and monitor constantly, it started acting up. I contacted Customer Support and then they were quick to replace it! Even though the first replacement (which was different manufacture-wise than the previous battery) was not able to recharge, I asked the supplier to send a second replacement, and equally as quick, they sent another replacement. Currently I am using that one and it is on it's 6th cycle. I recharged it when it hit 6% and my mac recalibrated and I've attached the stats from Coconut Battery to this review. For now I am very happy with the customer service and the very prompt response and replacements sent.Edit: Still going strong! my screen's optical cable passed out, and i'm kinda angry at that, but the battery still keeps around a full charge!

This is my second battery. I had the same one, but it lasted 2.5 years, which I thought was okay. Could have been better, but it's okay. So after looking around, I decided to get the same battery again. Installation was more difficult this time since the adhesive from the previous one did not come off as easily as the OEM battery. Also, because of the stiff plastic covering the new adhesive strips on the new battery it is almost impossible to correctly line up the three sections. The plastic is thick so I can't even cut it. We'll see how long this one lasts!

I recently purchased this battery for my MacBook. The battery works well and provides a good amount of power. I've been using it for a few weeks now, and it seems to be holding up well. So far, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Arrived promptly, installed by experienced family member without any problems, (special tools included are essential). I followed the recommendation to drain the battery down to around 10% before fully charging and I have been repeating that as it is supposed to improve battery performance. So far (10 days) I am completely satisfied with the purchase, I am easily getting 8 hours of use per charge although it's generally light use, plus my Macbook looks like new again with the case closing better than it has for months, and the trackpad back to normal. There are no Apple repair facilities where I live, so I would have had to be without my computer for a while if I had had the battery replaced by them, plus I would have incurred considerably more cost. So, if you are confident of your or a friend's competence in Mac repairs, I would recommend this battery.

UPDATE 2: Battery is once again dying very quickly. Seems like these batteries are good for about 6-10 months and then they lose their capacity. Not worth the hassle of reinstalling new ones so often.UPDATE: Since battery has a 1 year warranty, I reached out to customer service and they were very helpful and shipped me a replacement immediately. Installed it and so far so good. Hopefully this one lasts longer.I bought and installed this 10 months ago. It seemed to be working well for a while, but in the past month or two the battery has started to swell and make it difficult to click the trackpad. Also, the battery life is heavily reduced and doesn't last more than an hour or so now. It used to last a few hours. I would not recommend.

Look for the youtube video that explains: How to take apart the 2018 13" MacBookPro A1989. Otherwise it might be tricky to understand how to remove the bottom. I got lucky because I had a set of special screwdrivers: you need a smaller one in addition of the two coming with the battery pack. Batteries are glued but it's just a thin double sided tape, so use a plastic scalpel to lift the old batteries, with care. Worked for me. Now the mousepad clicks again and the bottom is not puffy anymore. Just fingers crossed that this product will last more than the original which failed (puffed like crazy - all of the four lithium packs) in less than one year from purchase.
