Barney Butter is a sheer miracle of almond butter without the messy oil to struggle and stir. No liquid and nearly a creamy consistency. The chocolate flavoring is JUST sweet enough to satisfy this chocoholic's craving without being TOO sweet or having too many carbs to sustain a Ketoish carnivore diet.As usual with good products, I find it on the pricey side, but it's definitely worth it for chocoholic trying to lose weight on a carnivore diet without falling hard off the wagon in a chocolate binge.

Well… Barney’s you’ve been a great choice to us for a long time, now… What is happening? Opening up another Barney’s almond butter that we always enjoy and it’s a one large hard clump with oil on the side. This is happening more often than not. Did you change your formula? We shall try it a few more times and if nothing‘s changed and it doesn’t go back better to what it was last year then it’s a arrivederci… so long… bye-bye.Update 5/27/2025 Ahh… much better, we received a new shipment of Barney butter and upon opening found it to be perfect. Very good! It’s almost gone in two days. Family love it.

Good taste, but TOO thick. It is so thick it is nearly impossible to spread. I put contents in a glass jar and heated for one minute in microwave. Then I added 1/4 cup of avocado oil, and mixed very well. It is now a very spreadable consistency.

Tastes good. Didn’t have to stir a lot. Not much oil, or salt, and the seal was difficult to get off. Good Value for money. Easy to spread.

Not a lot of almond taste. Definitely need liquid when eating. Will not be ordering it again.

I am addicted to this brand. Finally found a smooth version of almond butter. There isn’t any oil in the jar which is great and it goes on my rice cakes smoothly. As you get closer to the bottom of the jar it doesn't appear to be less smooth and is chunky but that just reminds me to order another jar. I buy one at least once a week.
