Save time and frustration
My only regret about this purchase is that I should have bought it sooner. I've been hand-fletching arrows for too long and wasted so much time! This jig is super easy to use and FAST! Even the assembly was fairly easy, although I would recommend watching one of the many Youtube videos, rather than trying to follow the instructions and diagrams. The videos are much easier.I set this up and fletched a full dozen arrows very quickly. They look great! For the few reviews that complain about inconsistent placement of the vane, the key is to push the vane all the way down in the holding arm. When the arms are closed, you can see the fletching placement on the back. The bottom of the vane should fill the bottom of the slit. Depending on how big your vane is, it might not reach all the way to the top. If there is still space in the slit (on the bottom), your fletching is badly placed. If your glue is not super-fast, you can wiggle the vane down with the arms closed. Otherwise, open the arms and push the vane down to the bottom of the slit. As long as you always have the vane sitting on the BOTTOM, your fletching will be straight and even every time. If you want to fletch further from the nock, you should use the spacer bars that Bohning provides.

Great money saver
It costs me a buck per fletching plus time and gas to get my arrows fletched then I'm on the bow shops schedule. During season I can't be waiting like that. This was a great buy. Easy to put together and easy to work.

"Like new" my a**, but otherwise this thing's amazing
Should've been five stars, but Amazon majorly dropped the ball. I decided to save a few bucks and purchased a "used - like new" one (sold directly from Amazon, not even a third party) instead of going for a new one. Big mistake, this thing was absolutely caked in solidified adhesive. Truly, it looked like someone got this for their kindergartener who wanted to try fletching arrows for some reason, and then promptly returned it without even the slightest attempt to clean it. Everything was just thrown around in the box and a few pieces were missing too, but thankfully, I didn't need those parts. But anyway, after a LONG while of scrubbing all the arms and the base with acetone (and delicately chipping at dried glue like I was an archeologist), it works great. I got two dozen arrows set up with new vanes in about two hours. This thing's a piece of cake to operate, so I have no idea how its previous owner botched their attempt so badly.Left helical fletching wildly improved my groupings too, my arrows all fly like darts now instead of wobbling a good bit before straightening out. I don't get why almost all arrow manufacturers default to a right offset now when most bows' strings are twisted clockwise. I'll be buying bare shafts from here on out since doing it myself is not only weirdly meditative, but it resulted in significantly more consistent accuracy. I'll also be much more hesitant when buying "like new" from Amazon.

Easy for beginners
I have been buying pre-fletched for many years and never thought about doing it myself. I finally took the plunge and I was very surprised how easy it was and the helical looks and performs amazing. As long as you have the knowledge about arrows sizes, this will work great for anyone looking to make their own arrows. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

Fast Easy Consistent
Three words in the title sum this little jig up. And those who gave it one star - all i can do is laugh. I wanted to speed up the process for hunting arrows and selected this tower to accomplish that and it does it like a champ. I have a Bitzenburger and a $500 jig and they do an amazing job but I'm starting to wonder now if this one may just take over all my fletching. I bought this one for my house and I bought a complete tower for my shop. My only regret is that i didnt buy two complete towers right off. So i'll just buy the extra fingers for this one instead of sending it back. That was my bad. This thing rocks. Period.

Ok, but not great.
My husband got this to fletch his arrows. It did work, but he said it was a little more aggravating than what he wanted. He ended up having to re-do some. It seemed like there would always be one that would be a little too high on the shaft, so he would scrape them off and start again. I'm not sure how much this was due to user error, but he had no issues using a different jig.The other jig, a Bitzenburger, is a much more expensive one that is more heavy duty. He stated that it worked much better, and though slower, you got a more consistent result. I would only purchase this product if you can't spring for the Bitzenburger. If you do get this jig, be patient and take a little extra time with applications.

Not worth the money
Piece of crap, save your money and get a steel one, a complete waste of money. Given it several chances and just not worth the money

Perfect
I use this to fletch arrows for my old high country supreme and my son's quad. It is easy, fast, and the arrows fly true. So, easy that my 12 year old son has fletched our last half dozen arrows. one thing to consider is that depending on the type of rest you use you may want to check out straight vane arms. If you are not precise with the nock vs. vane placement a TM hunter style rest can strip your fletchings off as you shoot.I would buy again and I definitely recommend this product.
