Wrong color
I purchased this just to see if it worked. It works so well, I ordered the tan colorway and received the olive and , kept it all the same. Great product.

It kinda works for Rock Island
Rock island standard FS. It works but I believe the other model with the removable panels are more fitted for RIA pistols. Had to shave some parts down to get them to fit and there’s always going to be a small gap in the front but it didn’t really bother me or pinch my hands. I do wish I bought the other one if it truly does fit. This is just what I’ve heard from other RIA owners.

Worth It
This item is actually great! I had my doubts based on some other attempts at adding the 1913 Picatinny, but this thing is solid! Worth every penny thus far!

Great for flashlight
Had to make a few altercations to get it to fit the rock island 1911, would work great for flashlight but for a laser not so much as the pic rail moves a bit so won't be accurate

Estheric challenge for tight fit
Fitting to standard frame show prominent gaps at trigger guard and foreframe. Used rubber bands to attempt to close gaps to help grip feel secure. Otherwise simple install, just esthetically diminished.
