We run a rescue and have many cats. This toy was a hit. The year olds immediately went to work while the older cats came up and watched intently. It wasn't to hard nor too easy abd kept their interest without frustrating. I purchased another for my daughter's cats. Both were enthralled and kept very busy. This puzzle is a win!

I have a rescue kitty that is part Savannah. Therefore, she has a very high prey drive and is highly intelligent, getting bored and depressed when she has nothing to stimulate her brain. I bought this for her and she LOVES it!We also have her sister, who is out of a different father. So while both have the Maine Coon from momma, sis has more Persian/HImalayan than the Savannah that Honey has. As a result, Sis prefers to just stick her nose in the bowl and eat--forget about the games! But even with a bowl down and available, Honey will go to her puzzle feeder and play with trying to get food out of it.The fact that you can rearrange/remove/add obstacles is nice as it helps to keep her thinking with new challenges occasionally. She really enjoys that and feels better with something to challenge her mentally.The whole thing is plastic and easy to clean. The lid does allow for kibble to fall down in between the walls and the lid though, so every couple of days you have to remove the lid and clean up all the old kibble that has fallen down where she cannot reach it. Maybe that is something they should rethink and come up with a different way of seating the lid to prevent kibble loss.It does stick pretty well to the tile floor, although she can move it when she pushes against it to try and get to the pieces that have fallen down between the lid and outer wall. It has never flipped over though, even when a 16 pound kitty running full tilt has lost footing on the tile floor and slid into it, knocking it a couple of feet away.Overall, it is a big hit with the kitty. She loves it and it keeps her happy, challenged, and occupied. That makes me happy, along with the easy clean up. Good price and good value for the price. If you have a smart kitty who is easily bored because they are not challenged enough, I would definitely recommend this as a try. If you have a porky pig like her sister who prefers to just stick her nose in the bowl and not come up for air until the bowl is clean, then perhaps not so much.

After I cleaned this nasty mess up, I gave it to my cats. I haven’t seen them use it yet but all pieces were there and nothing broken.

My critters absolutely hate this toy. And I mean that in the absolute best way possible...I don't spend as much time with them as I would like to, so I wanted to get them an enrichment toy that would both challenge and reward them to help keep them entertained while I'm not home. This product absolutely does the trick. I pour a handful of their favorite treats in the middle and it takes them about half an hour to get them all out. They don't really understand why treats are so much more difficult to obtain now, but it does exercise them, mind and body.My youngest cat is also my largest and this works exceptionally well to slow her feeding time too. She despises how long it takes her to get the treats, but it preoccupies her for a very decent amount of time. She will leave it for a bit and then continuously come back to it until it is finally empty. She's not the brightest bulb, so it does take her a while to get the treats out. My oldest cat is about 18 years old and figured out a relatively easy method to getting the treats, but it's still challenges her a bit and I appreciate that she can enjoy solving a puzzle for a reward.It honestly works exactly as I hoped it would and is well worth the price in my opinion.

This is a pretty darn good slow feeder - but only if your cat is demure and mindful. My loud food-driven demon came at this with an incredibly aggressive and frantic approach. She’s orange, which explains it - she managed to work the lid off by brute forcing this puzzle… one I thought would be a challenge for her gluttonous eat-without-swallowing tactics. By sticking her face or paw in any of the holes, she found she could just lift the entire pesky plastic lid right off and eat from the tray. The suction cups on the bottom definitely could be better too. Or maybe my cat is too damn strong. Either way, this is a decent slow feeder…but not for mine. I have to stick with a ball she pushes around. Sometimes simpler is better.

Once my cat figured it out with none of the added walls it was over 😅 now with every configuration he still finishes it in about 10-15minutes. But it still is a good addition to working his lil brain for snacks.

This is different in kind than the other toys. It requires her to use her paws in different ways, and I can see trial and error process going on when she's working at it. I also like that, in a few weeks of using it, she's getting better and better at it, and I can increase the obstacles as she understands more fully how to navigate them. Great toy. Update, about one month on: I'm adding more and more of the obstacles to it, and she's getting better and better at navigating them. Still a great toy.
