I had to get this cuz there was like a 1 to 2 in gap under my apt door, and I really hate bugs, and they were just coming right into my apartment from the door. But I got some weather stripping to fill in the gap on the side of the door, and then I got this sweeper, and now I don't get any bugs in from the door, and it keeps my air conditioning in my apartment. I've had it on my door for a couple months and it doesn't seem to be peeling off or in danger of coming off or anything like that.So this sweeper does its job very well. I bought it for two reasons and it solves both of those problems very well.

These things are great at filling the gaps. They help with noise cancellation also. I have purchased more for my home.

GOOD PRODUCT BUT NOT PERFECT

Oh my goodness. I don’t think I’ve been this impressed in such an inexpensive quick fix like this ever, honestly. I had three doors that I started to feel cold drafts blowing through on the bottom. These things are very easy to cut through with a good pair of scissors. The adhesive holds surprisingly well. But the most impressive thing is that these things COMPLETELY eliminated the draft that was coming up under my basement door. The draft that was coming in through my interior garage door was cut down, by what I would say, by 80%. I thought that was all I needed to do… But, I was in my upstairs hallway one day, and felt an extreme cold draft pouring in from under my great room door. Turns out the batteries in thermostat in there died, so the room dropped to about 50 degrees. I decided that I’d just leave it colder in there (to save on heating since we hardly ever use that room), and see if I could block the draft with one of these things. Wow. Even over carpet, this thing cut the draft down to a barely noticeable. Heck yeah to cutting down the heating bill. Seriously, these things are pretty freaking great!

I bought this specifically because I was trying to get my room pitch black!! My father in law stays up late watching TV in the living room and the light shines under my bedroom door and it’s annoying so I bought this thinking it would help since it says it blocks light!! Doesn’t work!I have photos of daytime so you guys can see my installation and at night so you can see all the light that still comes through!!When I was looking at all the different brands… I came across one that was black and I regret not buying it because it probably would have done a better job at keeping the light out! It’s stuck on my doors now so I can’t exactly return it… but it’s ok. It was cheap so it’s not a huge loss! I will try putting electrical tape over the bottoms and that hopefully should help a bit!If you’re like me and looking to specifically block light… don’t buy this!As far as the rest goes… it’s pretty air tight so it’s definitely gonna help with keeping the room cool in the summer and keep bugs out! I have carpet inside my room and tile right outside my room, so it’s pretty hard to get my door opened and closed but the material is very flexible so it seems like it should hold up for quite a while! As far as noise reduction goes… I haven’t really noticed a difference quite yet.

These were great. Don't let much air in and close th gap, they cancel noise, very durable, the size thickness is perfect in my opinion for a standard food and functions as expected. Love the durability.
