Great Pool Pump
Great upgrade from C530 pump. This pump is great for our 12x30 intex prism pool. We needed to upgrade as the original pool pump didn’t seem to circulate the water well and the filters stayed dirty a lot last year. The set up was easy and it has keep the pool clean and keep the water moving great. I ordered the A type filters as well and it has an indicator in the top of the pump to let me know when it needs changing. No more guessing. So far we are pleased with our purchase.

Great high output affordable for big blow up pool
I'm sold after a day. I used the idea of some others to add this to the our large blow up pool. Filter does a great job with high throughput. The power cord is very long and helpful. This filter saves me water refills after messy trees and kids with dirty feet in and out of the pool.Tips: Rubber coated weights are key! (just need to de-air lock it to start by water filling the pump and partial fill the lines)

If you have hard water or iron issues BUY THIS works great on small pool
Learn from my mistakes, don't waste all your time & money this summer. Here is how I cleared my brown iron infested pool up in just 3 days! We decided to attempt to set up a pool again this year & I forgot how tedious the whole process is, but this filter ended up being a savior! I decided to start small and ordered the 8ft intex pool from Target (99$) & although it claimed it came with a filter pump it didn't. I figured it was a small pool so I could get away with a small pump so I ordered an off brand 330 pump ($79). We have a septic water system so our water is full of iron thusly when we filled the pool it was super cloudy and murky. I hooked up the small filter and ran it for 10 days straight, cleaning out the cartridge daily and adding chemicals constantly...the water was slightly better but still very cloudy and brown (see 1st picture) and the iron particles that would settle on the bottom were too fine to vaccum up. After doing some research & reading a ton of reviews I decided to buy this filter. I knew from the reviews I needed to buy the adapters since I have a smaller pool, I got them for $16 here on Amazon. I read the gasket is not necessary & since it was a $60+ part I decided to hold off on that. While it works great without it it enables you to turn the water flow off for pump maintenance so it is helpful, I think eventually I will be getting one. The adapters are 100% necessary as the fittings are larger than the pool. So the filter & adapters came in just 2 days. It was super easy to install, took me like 30 minutes to do myself. If you're like me and super new to pools intex has some videos on YouTube that help a lot! I will admit the dual suction threw me off since the smaller filter only had 1 intake 1 output. Initially I installed it backwards & had 2 output hoses and 1 intake hose. The next day I realized my mistake and switched the hoses to 2 intake and 1 output. But, it still worked well that first night, that's how amazing this filter is. Being that my pool is so small this filter is super powerful!! The suction power is amazing & the output comes out like a hot tub. That old small pump didn't even move the water around, this one actually circulates it. If you're like me and have hard water or iron issues Google "pool sock method". I filled socks with pillow stuffing and zip tied them to the output hose than rinsed them clean a few times a day. The helped to collect those tiny stubborn iron particles. After the 1st night of running this filter the water was 80% clear (see 2nd picture). I was pleasantly surprised!! I continued using the pool socks and shocked the water the next day & it was 90% clear (see 3rd picture). After a few days of maintenance, chemicals and the occasional vaccum (I have one of those cheap pool vacs that hook up to a garden hose), I went outside to find the water 100% crystal clear!!!!! Literally all the iron particles GONE!!! Since it was super hot here last week the water feels amazing!! I feel like I finally conquered my greatest challenge yet...the brown pool water, and I owe it all to this filter!!! Yes it was a little more than I initially wanted to spend for a little pool, but it was SO worth it! I wish someone would have told me that before I wasted money on a subpar filter & weeks of having a brown pool no one could swim in!! Now that I have this amazing filter and know it works so well I plan on upgrading to the 12ft poolnext year... I just have to level out the ground better... (if you haven't put your pool up yet, LEVEL THE GROUND 1ST it really matters). But for now we are LOVING our little pool paradise. So if you have a small pump the upgrade is 1000% WORTH IT!

UPDATE: Took a chance with another Intex pump, still haven't included hose clamps 2X now!
UPDATE: I have run this pump now for almost a week. It seems to be working well. It circulates a lot of water compared to the 300gph pump I had before. It keeps the pool water clear and clean. I checked the filter today and gave it a rinse with the hose, went from dingy to white again, and popped it back in.It's very easy to access, don't forget to plug the intake and outflow hoses first and unplug the filter. Bought this to replace the 300 gph pump included with my 10'x30" Intex above-ground pool I bought a week ago. So far after 3 days in, this one still works! HOORAY. My original Intex 300gph pump included with the pool worked for maybe 12 hrs, then it would shut off 2 seconds after turning it on. So, I filed a clumsy non-user friendly, and time-consuming claim to replace the pump... but NO, after some questions, they will not replace the pump, but will send me that unit's motor for me to install/replace, and that SHOULD fix the problem. REALLY? By my calculations it would have likely been 2 weeks before I got a pump running after my claim filing, the new motor shipped once approved and all documentation was received, and if I have the time and energy to repair the pump as their surrogate repair tech with the new motor they send me. So, I reluctantly ordered this new 1000 gph pump, as a replacement and will repair my old one (if my repair skills and ability permit) whenever parts arrive, and keep it as a backup. At least with the extra Sixty+ dollars I spent, Intex will send me hose clamps that fit my pump and hoses this time that they didn't send with the last pump so I won't have to make a 20-mile round trip to the hardware store, RIGHT? WRONG. They didn't send me any hose clamps sized for the pump and hose connections with the old pump, AND they didn't send me the right ones for this pump either! (sorry but the 6" hose clamps don't work with 1.5-inch hoses)... Sigh.... at least the hose clamps I bought before covered their original failure and neglect, again. Given the rating, this pump ought to work better with over 3x the gph rate of the old pump. I still haven't set foot in the pool 3 weeks after set up due to pump issues ruining our opportunity during our hot spell, and now during the cold spell, we have yet to use it. Throwing your dice expecting quality control, and parts packing accuracy, coupled with wonky and clumsy customer warranty claims and support, hoping craps doesn't come up is not a good business model. I am not easily perturbed into writing negative reviews, but if they are earned and I have to pay an additional $75 for a new pump and hose clamps due to poor Q.C. to replace pump/hose clamps included on a $103 pool, I think I owe it to prospective purchasers to share my experience.
