G.I. Joe 25th Anniversary: Hooded Cobra Commander (Cobra Leader) 3.75 Inch Action Figure

Reasonable re-issue figure, nice card. Received quickly and package was not damaged.

This is one of the very, very oldest of the Modern Era figures; as such, it's kind of bare-bones, and lacks the detail or articulation of some of the later figures, but overall it's a great depiction of the character. The color choice is terrific, and lends an air of distinction not carried by some other Cobra Commander variants. His hood appears to be blowing in the breeze. His back has an attachment point for his blaster pistol--it's not especially secure, but it works well enough.A couple other downsides (besides the age of the sculpt):*Ankles are stiff, and need to be broken in.*Shoulders may be stiff when lifting the arms laterally.*Left fist is clenched, and can't be used to hold accessories.*The only accessory he comes with (besides stand) is his blaster.*Torso doesn't appear to "rock" side-to-side like some other figures, but it does rotate.Overall? Even with its spartan accessory set, minor flaws, and age-related relative lack of detail factored in, I love it. I have a ton of Cobra Commanders already--including variants of this same design, as well as more modern versions--and this is probably one of my very favorites. The color scheme is really top-notch.

Cool product but very pricey

GI Joes are not as good as they once were... kiddo still liked it, though.
