I don't write reviews unless I really love something or truly hate something. This converter totally did not work for us in our trip to the Philippines. We had purchased an iSelector power adapter and it worked fine down in the Philippines for the in-laws for a year or more. We were traveling down there recently so I purchased a second converter for the trip and based on the number of reviews went with this one instead. When we got down there my CPAP did not work more than 5 minutes before it would give a fault. My electric shaver would not work with it. We took a bug zapper down with us and it worked for a day and then dies, could have been defective but may have been this converter. They warn in their add that it is extremely limited but I was shocked by how many devices don't work with it. We left the power adapter down there once we returned home and our in-laws had problems with it to where they stopped using it and asked us to send them another iSelector (which worked flawlessly for any device connected to it). For this converter, the only plus side to me was that the USB adapters did work to charge a phone.

I bought this for nespresso coffee machine and kitchenaid dough mixer, however it did not work with two of these, is there a way for me to exchange it with more powerful one? I kept all the pieces in the box. It is not damaged. Thank you very much for your consideration in advance.

I recently traveled to several countries in Africa also Qatar and England. After doing some research I realized that I was going to need a adapter to not just fit the local plug configuration but to convert voltage AND HERTZ . This device worked beautifully. I used it in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Qatar and even on a British Airways flight (although the flight attendant was a little concerned about me doing so). The fan does make a little "breathing" sound but it wasn't loud enough to bother me and I'm a light sleeper. At times my husband and I had 5 devices charging at one time and although it seemed to take a little longer to get a full charge, it still did the job. This device is versatile and very light weight. I travel outside the USA once or twice a year. I don't think I'll need another converter no mater where I travel.

I ordered two of these for an extended vacation in Italy. My wife and I both use CPAP machines and this unit should have provided the versatility to do the job. However, one unit would not power up my wife's unit, getting a red light and shutting off. Generally speaking, when working, we were able to use the CPAPs and charge our phones, tablets, etc. without any additional problems. The units have built in fans to cool them when energized which make a wheezing, breathing noise when anything is attached and running. The adapters are a great plus and cover just about any 220v situation in the world. I would have returned the one unit but the return period has expired. I had to mark the unit so as to know which one has difficulty with the CPAP. Also, these units are very finicky with plug in devices such as curling irons, etc. Quality is overall good, but I'd say buyer beware...try it out, if possible, before you travel.

I ordered this for a trip to Egypt. It arrived quickly and the price as great. It's very well made. Definitely recommend.

I had bought 3 of these convertors for use by my 2 children and me, during our 3-wrek trip to India, for our 110 volt electronics - laptops, watched, phones - to charge/operate when connected through these converters to 220 V outlets. These are (advertised as) rated at 2300 wattsThe moment a single laptop charger (rated 65Watts) was connected to the converter, a red light started flashing on the converter (indicating overload) and the charger would not power up. All 3 converters behaved the same wayAs for calling the seller's support line, for help with such basic functionality that should 'just work', from a country where you are paying a premium for data/calls to begin with, the last thing you want is to waste more time and money stuck on a phone call for such basic functionality (provide converted voltage/power) that you already paid a premium for! The unfortunate part is you cannot 'test' this functionality ahead of actually getting to your destination. You have to trust the device works as advertised.----Unfortunately you cannot trust this manufacturer / seller!
