One of my best purchases
I've been using loupes made buy a very well known company ever since dental school. A few years ago I had my original pair updated with a new prescription. After the change I was never happy and went back to my original set. Now I've decided to try it again, but I am semi retired now and only work a few days a week and only do examinations. After talking to the Loupe company it was apparent that their service policy is very restrictive and their prices are no longer reasonable. I ordered these loupes from Amazon and I am extremely surprised and pleased. The materials are of reasonably high quality. The range of vision is easy to adjust, and the included clip and hardware allows attachment to prescription frames and they flip-up out of the way. These may not be adequate for detailed procedures but for what I do, they are very cost effective and the work well. I ordered a second pair.

Don't let price fool you. These are actually great, especially for the price.
I bought these with the intention of giving them to my 7 yo daughter since I wear surgical loupes for my work... I am amazed at how good these are. I bought some more to use as back ups. My loupes are in the range of $1500 and are better than these but only a LITTLE BIT better. I use loupes for surgical procedures in my profession and I have used these $20 loupes many times and they are great. I actually prefer the cheap ones for some procedures because of a wider field of view and more light gets through. These loupes are well worth the money and comparable to my $1500 pair. Makes me wonder why "good" loupes and lights are so expensive. I also bought a cheap light, same thing.. not 100% as good as my $900 light but VERY close, FAR better than the price would indicate.... $20 vs $900 and 95% to 99% as good. I ended up buying many of them to use for back ups.Conclusion.. $40 for surgical loupes with head lamp vs over $2000 for a "good" set.... ALMOST as good except for shorter battery life (lasts 4 - 5 hours) on the headlamp so just buy an extra battery pack and switch out after one gets low.

Amazing Tool For Lash Artists!
I bought these for my lash extension Business. I have to say they are a game changer! I’ve been lashing for 3 years, and a month ago began getting pain between my shoulder blades. After a few weeks of trying new pillows and different stretching exercises, I saw a chiropractor who told me my rib was of place due to my constant hunched over work posture.I bought these, and within 3 days my pain was reduced by half, and within a week I was pain free! Wearing these I’m able to work sitting straight up while just tilting my head slightly down. I did need to make adjustments with the knobs and the direction the lenses are pointing the first couple days in order to get just the right position, but the last couple weeks using these has changed the way I lash for the better! I can also now see tiny lashes way better. The visual distance they stated is definitely accurate. Funny thing though, I wear glasses, and with my prescription if I remove my glasses and just look through these, I get an extra 4-6 inches of distance! Now that’s probably just because of my specific prescription, so don’t expect that to happen. Unfortunately that makes my work area too far for me at that point, so I wear my glasses or contacts under them. The adjustments for these 1) Change the distance between the lenses for wider or more narrow set eyes. 2) Make the lenses higher, lower, closer or further away from the frames. 3) Swivel making the lenses point closer toward the center, or point away from each other. Once you get it all working together, they work great! So don’t think they are broken if you’re getting double vision. It just means the lenses may be pointing too close to the center, or too far apart. I hope all this makes sense!

Cheap plastic; not for professional use
If you are used to professional grade loupes like Orascoptic, these are really crappy. I could never adjust the loupes properly to use with dental patients. Since I did not return this item in time for a refund, I keep these at home for easy little jobs like threading a needle. But honestly, they are a pain to use because the cheap plastic screws loosen, and loupes do not stay in place. Loupes are too heavy for the frames, and they slide off your face as well.

Best money spent!
I am a surgeon requiring very fine work. One day my loupes broke. I finished my case and contacted the company to have them repaired or replaced. Due to the pandemic, they noted that they were more than five weeks behind and typical turnaround was 4 to 6 weeks for repair and 6 to 8 weeks for a new pair. This would’ve stopped me from working for the next 3 to 4 months. I found this pair of inexpensive adjustable loops and they worked the first case. I was able to use them until my regular loops were repaired and now have these as a back up for any further problems. Couldn’t think of a better investment. I can only highly recommend I can’t speak to how they would work for long-term use but as a back up pair, they are amazing!

needs improvement
these loupes are good for the price. it's made well but the plastic materials are not the highest qualtiy. i love the flip up option. the magnification is crisp, however, i wish the working distance came in different lengths. the 16.5 working distance is too short for me, but i can make it work. i am usually comfortable at a distance of 21. i also would have liked the lenses to angulate more downward to prevent the neck from having to bend too much. as an RDH having custom loupes are ideal, but these are definitely a good option if you do not want to spend thousands of $ on orascoptics. the only thing that really annoys me with these loups are the straps, they slip out of the arms too easily and my loupes have fallen to the ground 2x already and I've only had them for a week, luckily they havent shattered! to resolve this issue, i've used the coils (meant to hold light wires) and wrapped them around the bands to secure them (see pics).
