WizKids NECA D&D Icons of The Realms: The Chief Guh D&D, Dungeons and Dragons

Great mini, lovely story telling piece.

The price of Chief Guh got me to have a second look. The picture of her is not flattering for a premium figure, but who could skip such a good deal for $25? Once she arrived, I marveled at the detail shown on the outer box. I gleefully opened the box and the mini was freed from her constraints, I was let down by the poor sculpt job and lack of detail given to this figure. I was surprised that Wizkids could miss an opportunity to make Chief Guh really great. Her face could have had so much more detail added and even her rocky throne was spartan. The paint job for this mini could only be described as "slop & go." I guess the low price compensates for the low quality of the figure.

The sculpture of the item is lazy and generic. The paint job is mediocre. Good for Storm King’s Thunder not much else. Not a very intimidating queen of the Hill Giants. With all the incredibly detailed minis coming from Wiz Kids, I expected better.

the eyes on my figure were located low on the cheeks like bedouin tattoos. Quality control really dropped the ball on weeding this one out. I do love the sculpt though
