I've tried at least a half dozen different car phone holders with Qi charging. The first one I used was similar to this one, but required adjusting and gripping and was not operable single handed. Also, it required precise positioning of the phone, and the slightest change in adjustment would cause the charging to fail.So, I switched to magnetic holders. These work well and charge, but even the strongest ones fail on big bumps and drop the phone; they also get pretty finicky when it comes to positioning the provided ring inside the phone case.When this holder went on Lightning Deal I thought I'd give it a try, and I'm very happy I did. It is now my car holder of choice.The holding mechanism is very simple: there are two side grips and a bottom holder, and they're connected. When you apply weight at the bottom, the side arms close in and hold the phone tight; when you lift up the phone, the side arms open and release the phone. Easy, simple, foolproof.Unlike with magnetic holders where charging can be hit or miss, with this charger the phone gets into charging mode every time without fail.The air vent attachment clip is sturdy and grips well.Bottom line: this is by far the best holder I've ever used. It checks all the boxes:- phone can be attached and removed single handed without looking- charging works reliably- phone is held securely and doesn't fall- supports large phones (picture shows my iPhone XS Max)Very highly recommended.

this Wireless Car charger is one of the best choices. Simply put my iphone in,the two sides will automatically grip the phone and charging begins immediately.

Works way better than my previous one. I switch to wireless charging a while ago and decided to do the same thing for my car phone stand. It’s easy to use and one you put the phone on the stand, it automatically tightens the clips, so no need to manually do it or forget to do it at all. It charges fine and is easy to assemble. The clips are pretty tight when I try to clip it on my A/C but it all worked out. I drove home from work using this and it’s so convenient to use.

Normally I am too lazy to write a review but this product is an exception. I hate when I read the reviews, purchase the product based on the reviews, then the product sucks! Well this car mount by far is the best mount I have ever purchased (I actually bought 2!). Plain and simple: It stays in place, the phone will NOT fall out, it doesn't jiggle, the wireless charging works perfectly, and the best part is that I never have to touch it. I don't have to push a button or squeeze the sides to make it tighter or to loosen it. All you do is simply drop the phone in and the sides automatically close (it's not a dramatic close, it just slightly close). There's a nice base ("feet") on the bottom to hold the phone and the side "arms" won't damage your phone. I purchased the iPhone XS Max in Nov 2018 and with my clear rubbery case I have no issues whatsoever with it staying in place or charging it. I only recommend this car mount. You will not be disappointed!

It looks ok, and holds phone fine (I have Samsung S9). However it diesn't charge. On a second I only see notification wifi charging paused, but actually it never begin, so I guess it happens only for a second. I use it now just like a phone holder, couse I don't have time to go and return. To bad, it looked like a perfect fit for me and now I'm disappointed...-Fast charging cable, adapter and 110 volt adapter for car, did not charge.-Tried again with different converter and different cables taken from OEM Samsung Wireless charger and could not achieve wireless charging.-The install is easy and stays tight even driving through broken down highway roads in NYC.-Case not issue, as tried without.-Voltmeter showing adeque voltage and ampage output out of the 0 volt converter.-Would be perfect product, if it worked.-I can change my review rating,if you can fix it for me.

So far I’m pretty impressed with this dock... the charger has worked consistently with my iPhone X and case. The gripping mechanism is pretty clever, easy to pop in and out. Seems like great value for the money so far.

I great unit if you do not have a cover on your phone. Would not work when I had the Otterbox cover on my Samsung S-7 edge.

Been using it for few days, its been good so far. It’s very convenient to have your phone charge wireless while driving.
