Works on Windows 10 and in Linux!
Typical USB wifi adapters based on Realtek chips do not work with Linux due to driver issues. This adapter (based on RTL8192EU Realtek WiFi chipset) works out of the box with Arch/Manjaro Linux. Supports soft AP mode in Linux (not supported on Windows 10)Note that this is not dual band and supports only 2.5GHzSignal strength is respectable (3/4 bars) for a distance of 10 feet with a wall in between. Achieving around 20Mbps on Ookla speed test on both upload and downloadEdit: works out of the box without driver install for windows 10 latest builds and Linux (Arch/Manjaro/openSUSE). Speeds on Linux is lower ( Max 1.5-2 MBps vs 3MBps)Edit: sticking the dongle into a USB port encased in plastic (like front USB) delivers much better speed than using a USB port encased in metal (rear of the case)Edit: using Thai dongle with usb2.0 port instead of usb3.0 give better speed (54Mbps)

very good and fast.
initially, i was getting some disconnection problems, but that is because windows has some problems that it can not operate multiple "NIC"s at the same time. if you only use wifi adapter then it will work perfectly, if you install another wifi-adapter or pci card and connect the same time then, wifi gets disabled or disconnect every time. because of multiple gateways.if you use linux then multiple gateways will not be a problem and you are able to use multiple nic at the same time.this adapter has no latest linux kernel support until now, but we will see in the future, but in windows it works perfectly well.

Ok product, go for it for use in windows..
+ This is an ok product with the price tag cheaper than others.+ It works fine with Windows10 OS, you will need to install the driver though. My laptop didn't have CD driver so the driver was downloaded(google the device name and you will get it).+ Once driver installed properly, you'll see Wi-Fi2, incase you already have inbuilt one. I was able to change the adapter to Wi-Fi2 and connect and browse internet.+ The other thing is, it also works on Linux Ubuntu 14.x and Ubuntu 16.x.Some of my challenges with the product are(may not be applicable to all):- Its very hard to plug in and plug out in my laptop USB port.- The laptop gets heated up and there seems lot of processing going on as I plug in. Once or twice I saw the connection drops.- It is not working fine with Virtual box. I have Ubuntu install as guest OS, and USB controller is enabled so the guest can get the device. Now from the guest OS, I can see the wifi SSID's and I can connect to internet. But the problem is it drops the connection after few minutes. Tried multiple times but same problems. Also I am not sure if any device supports this case. Anyways, this was my main need to buy the device, so I returned it and seller refunded my money promptly.thanks

Don’t buy this
This product is a scam it has Wi-Fi 6 tech for 2.4ghz only. So your 5g Wi-Fi won’t connect with it only 4g speeds will work which affects its efficiency a lot. Don’t buy this at all spend a little more and buy dual network band dongles

Working perfectly
It works well if there is less obstacles between your wifi router and adapter.

Size doesn't always matter - rock solid performance.
Box Content---------------------------USB AdapterMini Driver CDPurchase Price - Rs 299I got this item yesterday and have been using it since then. I have plugged it to my assembled AMD desktop and have connected to my cable broadband through a TP-Link WR740N router. The adapter comes packed in a nice little box. It is really small with Tenda branding on the back of it. I just plugged it into an USB 2.0 socket and installed the driver and it detected the wireless network immediately. The router has been kept at a distance of about 4-5 feet from the PC and the connection has been stable so far. The weakest reception I got went down to 3 bars but mostly it hovers around 4-5 bars. This makes me feel that you cannot use this adapter to connect to a router that is significantly away from your PC. But again, I am just speculating here. I have not tested this myself.Pings are fine and there has been no change in broadband speed with using this adapter.Overall, I am happy with the device. I purchased it primarily for two reasons1. To make the desk free from the clutter of the router and the ethernet cables.2. To be able to connect my desktop to my mobile network in case the primary internet goes down. The only gripe I have with this device is that it isn't Plug-and-Play. You actually have to install the driver to make this work. Though it's not much of a hassle but it adds one more item to the list of items that I need to keep securely; the driver CD.Overall, happy with the purchase,
