if you can use the plug get it
Brilliant, hard wired in, works perfectly, hidden from view, couldn't be better, pity the Rexing dash cam didn't last, packed up when the warranty ran out, got a different dash cam now, takes a different plug, so through no fault of this item, its been removed and now sits with all the other junk at the bar of my garage

Does the job
Although this works well, I cannot use both the camera and my DAB radio as the camera wiring somehow interferes with reception. It does what it's supposed to with regard to powering the camera and is easy enough to install, but DAB customers should be aware of the problems (I now see there are lots of others having the same issues.

Great and simple kit to wire up your dash-cam.
Second one of these I have now purchased to install dash-cams and couldn't be simpler even for a numpty like me. Simply plug into camera, neatly tuck the wiring behind your car/van interior plastics, safely tie up any spare cable and then use a piggy-back fuse and hey presto, camera has power every time you turn on the ignition. Kit is good value and so far no issues after many months of use.

Worth money.
Ideal for adding additional gadgets to your car and eliminates unsightly leads going to your 12v cigarette lighter socket. Would have been perfect if it also came with the add a fuse circuit kit. Makes it so much easier to install.Good bit of kit use mine on Rexing dual camera set up.

Check your connector!
Ended up returning as missed the fact that the connector was mini USB and not micro USB. Pity as it was cheap and appeared to be well made.

Hard Wire Kit
Works with the Toguard Dash Cam and there is ample wire to hide it away. The Toguard hard wire set listed on Amazon is not compatible with the Toguard Dash Cam HD1080P
