Works well, fast delivery and good price.

These bits just arrived today, but I've already had the chance to test them out some. Although I can't speak to their longevity/durability yet, these bits appear to be of good quality and work well with my 3.0HP DeWalt router. I primarily work with walnut which is a fairly dense wood, and these bits cut through the boards without any real issue.My only complaint so far is that the wooden storage box these arrived in is very thin and cheap; the lid of mine was already broken on arrival (the reason for my 4-star review; photo attached). This of course isn't the end of the world, I could really just wood-glue it back on, but I'll probably just find a different storage bin to keep them in. Again, not a huge deal, but figured it was worth mentioning.Overall, I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend it as a good/cheap option for beginner wood workers or casual carpentry hobbyists.

This was the perfect starter set for someone using their first hand-held router, because it includes a nice assortment of differently shaped bits to experiment with. (Sorry, English teachers for that preposition on the end.) The variety gives you the opportunity to try (and feel) the effects differently shaped bits will have on how you use them on your future projects. These, a few clamps, and a bit of scrap pine can help you see those possibiities. Once you get this set home and get the bits out of the nice wood case they are securely held into for safe shipping, you may wish to remove the plastic inserts and re-drill any too-small wood holes to make it easier to get the bits in and out of the case as you use them. The bits are nice, sharp, straight, and cut very well. I can't wait to apply them to real projects!

This is a really good price for 12 bits. In the local stores one bit cost more than the set. I should have read more as I didn't realize is was metric. That only really matters to me for the dado blades. The box was a huge disappointment. It is like balsa wood. It's very thin and weak. When I unlatched it the first time, the entire front of the box fell off. I glued it together so I can keep using it but if I was rating the box it would be one star and that would be too high. I haven't actually used the bits yet but they look well built and I don't anticipate a problem.

Great box and durable bits

Ok, so I’ve had this set for several months and I have used em, a lot. I hate spending the money on the good ones but as often as I use router bits I aughta. For somebody that tinkers an uses em mildly there a great buy. But, they ain’t gonna last for somebody who really uses em. I got 3 chipped carbide bits, bearings gone out on two of em. I’m replacing them one by one with good ones. Ain’t trying to put em down so much as pointing out what should’ve been obvious to me, pay little, get little. For the casual woodworker, these things are sharp and cut nice. They’re a bargain. For Everyone else, buy em if you want I guess. They’re nice for a while.
