Use these for collecting samples when brewing. They cost a bit more than the random brands made in China, but they're a lot tougher, which is great when they inevitably get knocked into stuff during use. Markings on the side are also printed very legibly, unlike some of the cheaper brands I have used before.

I plan on using these for a basic experiment. I ordered two boxes of 12. Both boxes were packed well, but one box still had two damaged beakers (the other box was perfect). One beaker had what looked like a defect near the spout where the glass was thinned and rough. Another had a hairline crack on the side. It wouldn't stop me from ordering again, it was just bad luck.

I have a set of these as kitchenware, they're tough and microwaveable, I drink pretty much everything out of them. As a bonus you always know how much you're drinking and it's easy to make mixed drinks accurately, also you never need to hunt around for a measuring cup.

Great beakers, solid and heavier glass than my previous ones. These are my Sunday Best Crystal, reasonably priced, useful in many ways, and I can always match my pattern if I break one.
