Great to have on hand when someone is returning home from the hospital. Especially if they are having trouble eating due to surgical procedures causing stomach issues.

Pricey, but worth every penny. Our special son has been on a feeding tube for 18 years, seldom had any problems with it, started with total diarrhea first of March, 2024, continued on every time we fed him through the tube, tried other things, did scans, MRIs, grew stool samples, etc. The nutritionist at the hospital put him on Kate Farms, he's flourishing - loves the taste, holds his own cup and drinks it, has put back on about 5 pounds of 20 pounds he lost from March - June 1st. We are so blessed.

I lost an excessive amount of weight during a severe depression. Then need an emergency surgery after which I lost another 5 pounds due to a restricted diet. First of all it tastes really good. Secondly an 11 oz container is 325 calories. I was having 3 per day.The protein is pea protein (not soy) and it is packed with beneficial ingredients. Kate Farms does not want to say or deny that there PEA protein the main ingredient comes from China. While I am sure some items coming from china are safe to consume. Historically they have failed the consumer. I do not want Pea proteins from there. You can do your research and see the issues with it. DO YOU WANT YOUR CHILD TO CONSUME HEAVY METALS?? Until they decide to source from a reputable place or post test results of there products from an independent source we will no longer purchase. The kids love it but wont give it to them just like McDonald's. Not going to happen! It should be a consumers right to make an informed decision on where the ingredients are coming from that are going into there bodies. Unless you start 3rd party independent testing and posting results of your product not going to purchase. You can afford to do so giving the cost of a case I can bet on that!

I was going through depression & started smoking weed heavily my weight was at 120 and dropped to 100 I was desperately trying to gain my weight back because my clothes weren’t fitting me at all,I looked sick. I am lactose intolerant & sensitive to a lot of foods (I’m still trying to figure out what I can & cant eat) but I knew diary played a large part in why I would get gas & Constipated. I tried ensure but it messed up my stomach so bad so I did my research and came across this product it’s a life changer it doesn’t mess my stomach up however I do get excessive gas when drinking this and I’ve been drinking it with big meals too I am so happy with this product. This product was recommended by my GI Nutritionist. I want to pass along that this is a wonderful product! I have tried many nutrition shakes and ended up wasting money by dumping them down the sink. They were all too sickly sweet, too chalky, too thick and so on. Long story short, I have severe medical issues that makes it very hard for me to achieve proper nutrition normally. So two of these shakes can provide me roughly 50% of my nutritional needs! I tried the chocolate and then the vanilla. I buy them both to give myself a little variety of flavors. I wished they could come out with a strawberry flavor! Anyway, if you or someone is struggling with oral nutrition and you're sick of the sickly sweetness of other shakes, then please give these a try. If you're seeing a Nutritionist, they may be able to provide you with sample cartons. At least my Nutritionist was able to do that. It allowed me to try before I had to buy it. These are somewhat expensive, but well worth it to me. I hope that this post can help someone.
