An upgrade to what is already great! (SEE VIDEO POST)
It’s been almost 5 years since I bought my last RO system from APEC and it has performed admirably during its 5-year run. I was really satisfied with the taste of the water and the way the system is built, but the effort of replacing the filter still leaves a lot of rooms for improvement.I started researching on another RO system and one of Aquasure’s ad popped up on my Facebook feed. A twist styled RO system that suppose to provide great water filtration with easy install and maintenance. Their website also goes into great details on why the system is an upgrade to the standard reverse osmosis systems that are on the market today. The whole package was very well thought out and everything seems to have its purpose in this well-constructed system. I decided to pull the trigger once again and bid farewell with my old faithful system. The system arrived nicely packaged and organized with 3 inner boxes that separate the system, the tank, and the accessories. unlike the standard RO, these filters are built into the housing and are already pre-installed along with their leak-proof safety mechanism. All I really need to worry about is to connect the supply tubings to the existing connection. The whole process took me no more than 10 minutes since the connections are all 1/4" which is the same as my previous RO, the only thing that I decided to change is the tank and the feed water adapter as I feel that the new feed water adapter that comes with the Aquasure System is much better. One other thing I notice is the fittings have built-in o-rings so I don't need to fiddle with Teflon tapes and trying to guess how much of it I need to apply. The system still supplied a row of Teflon tape which was odd to me, but I guess some people will find a use of it depending on their setups. Although my install was very easy due to existing connections already made on the previous RO, I still can see how the new system's design is more superior than the old one even for those that did not have an old setup. After flushing the first tank of water which takes about an hour to fill up. I conducted a simple TDS test that results in about 94% of TDS rejection, which is comparable to the previous system. The water tastes just the same as well with a tiny bit of sweetness to the water.Overall, I really like how the Aquasure System is packaged and how easy it is to change the filters. I really like my old RO system as well, but don't really missed the effort it takes replacing the filters and making sure that everything is tightened properly. The new RO system will be a welcome relief when its time for replacing its filters in the future. For those of you that are looking to buy and install your own RO system, this one is definitely worth to consider.

Well designed . Before TDS=185. After = 12
Overall happy. I like that it only puts 1.5 gallons of water down the drain for each gallon of RO water. Best I could find. The unit I purchased had most of connections already made versus the on line video. However as my sink cabinet is extra large I had to purchase extra pex line. The faucet body was well built but the top was plastic. It has a quick change feature to change the top part when it breaks. In any event I purchased a non OEM fully SS faucet and worked fine as did not want to deal with the top part of faucet. Also this did not come with a quick change water line connector for the faucet or a splitter for my ice maker. It does come with everything to make it work however. Really a easy install especially since all connections are made for you on unit. It did arrive in a crushed box so shipping could have been better.

Amazing system!
The media could not be loaded. Stop, drinking, tapwater and level up your health by getting the system. Totally worth the investment. Highly recommend!

it's only last for two years
it's only last for two years, this is my second unit. The first one was running good until a few days ago. I've changed all the filters, all the check valves even the membrane, still no luck! I ordered this unit and boom, it's making water again, so it is not the problem of the water pressure. This unit costs $200 included tax, and installation is just plug and go, very simple.

Bought One for my Mother In-Law
I’ve had an Aquasure reverse osmosis system for about a year and a half - it came in a package with our water softener. I just bought another one for my wife’s mother. That should tell you what you need to know. This is a good system. I’ve installed two of these myself now, and it’s relatively easy if you have some basic plumbing knowledge, and the right tools. You do have to drill a hole in your drain pipe, so if you’re not confident, probably best to hire someone to install it.

Fantastic Water!
This is an excellent undersink RO system that makes fantastic water that almost everyone will love. If you don't like a very slight hint of sweetness in your water (think SmartWater), they also offer an alternate post filter for a flatter taste. Replacement filters and RO membrane are reasonably priced. The faucet that it comes with is very high quality, and much nicer that the one included with the Aquasana system that this is replacing.A couple things to keep in mind - make sure the pressure tank will fit under your sink, and through the opening to get there. My RO unit is mounted under a laundry room sink that does not have a full size base cabinet. The cabinet door opening was about a half inch too small to fit the pressure tank through. I had to modify the cabinet to make it work. Also, keep an eye out for leaks. My RO unit had one connection that was not fully pushed into the quick connect, which resulted in water spraying everywhere the first time I pressurized it. It's probably not a bad idea to pull all the red locking tabs to check all the connections for tightness before you install the system under your sink.

Always problems when maintaining this system
Unfortunately, while I felt like this filter provided good water, the quality of replacement filters is suspect. At least 50% of the time when replacing filters the system would stop working, with the filters being plugged or broken internally, etc. So I wasted a lot of money on replacement filters (i.e. at least double what it should have been) and thus overall a very poor value. So I am now scrapping this system and buying a similar system from a different manufacturer.

Easy to install and producing lots of water
I bought this to replace a smaller unit that no longer was producing water fast enough. In spite of the fact that it has a larger tank, it acutally has a nice small footprint when you mount the unit on the cabinet wall. The water tastes good and tests show it is removing lots of ions. My only real question is that the water comes out with lots of tiny bubbles, so it looks cloudy at first. But the bubbles clear quickly, so it is not an issue.
