Love this doorbell!
Loving this doorbell already. Was super easy to install, just 2 screws and it was up securely, but the system to take it down to charge is simple, just push the pin thing in and it unclips. The video is very clear, even the nightvision is good. Sound is clear and connected to my phone in seconds. The app is simple to use and so far it's worked perfectly every time. Far better than my old one and without the subscription cost!

Ring door bell
The ring doorbell is amazing picks up all motion. Would recommend the ring door bell to everyone. No Monthly subscription fee either. you just have to buy an SD card I'm so happy with it. Easy to install. Easy setup to your phone. Great price

Battery life is not as good.
I bought this as a replacement for my first Eufy doorbell. I kept the Homebase as it was the doorbell that I required. The first doorbell, the plastic lens fell out and in trying to delicately replace the lens.... Glue smeared over the lens area, making the veiw like looking though thick fog.It was easy to pair up.However, this version requires a micro SD card. No problem to insert and remove, should you want to enlarge the memory capacity.Picture quality is slightly better with the motion detection more sensitive, even after amending the sensitivity level and nighttime vision is good. The sound quality is definitely better and more responsive. This too has an internal rechargeable battery BUT where it lacks is the life. Around half the longevity, even after tying to replicate all the exact settings..... After charging to 100%, within 4 days this has dropped to 94%.Plus, when someone rings the doorbell, the Homebase alerts me but sending a notification to my phone can be between 3 to 4 minutes later. The first Eufy doorbell was so much quicker.I'll persevere for now and see how many people I miss by the long notification. It's not just the phone which is slow, my tablet is also around the same length of tiime..... But the Homebase is instant.Thankfully l can access the memory and see who has visited me.

Plug and pray didn't help!
In an ideal world a "simple" Video Doorbell should really be plug and play! Sadly not in this case - my wife (the smartphone expert) and I spent probably ten hours in total over 4 days trying repeatedly to connect the eufy C30 Video Doorbell to our WiFi network. We looked up info / videos on the eufy website; we watched countless YouTube videos; we used the eufy LiveChat - after a short time the eufy "expert" told us that he couldn't help any further and said that he would refer the problem to the technical team, who would contact us via email within 12 hours - 24 hours later no email! - so we sent an email to them - we actually got a reply email (on Christmas day!) but it might as well have been written in Chinese = it was written in highly technical terms - nevertheless I found out how to access my WiFi Router settings via internet - I even deactivated my Router's firewall but that didn't help either! In summary, after the total frustration of several days trying, we have decided that we managed without a Video Doorbell for many years and so it shall remain. The eufy C30 Video Doorbell is on its way back to Amazon for a refund. Pity, but I know when I'm beaten! 😒

Great quality footage and no expensive subscription
The media could not be loaded. I already have the Eufy security cameras that I’m pleased with, and wanted this as an extra.I like the fact you don’t have to pay for a subscription to access your data. It’s great quality and I like how you can leave a recorded message for visitors. Mine asks delivery drivers to leave any items in the shed, meaning I never miss a delivery. It’s great quality footage at a great price. It’s easy to adjust the settings so that people walking past aren’t activating it.It’s also easy to take a screenshot, or download the footage. I recommend Eufy products as a cheaper alternative to Ring.To charge it, you just use the USB cable provided. It was really easy to install too, there are no negatives to this product.

Good but could be better
Bought the door bell over the Amazon favourite owing to not wanting to have to spend on a monthly subscription. This product allows for a memory card to be installed in the back so the footage can be stored locally instead of the cloud. On first use the product was easy to set up and install, the video quality is great and it looks smart.Couple of small downsides - the ring function is very quiet and only sounds from the unit outdoors, tried to buy a separate eufy chime to pair with the product so I could hear the doorbell in the back of the house, that did not pair or work so went back.Purchased a home security system at the same time as the doorbell which uses the home hub 2, this doorbell does not pair with that either. Also there is a slight delay between the doorbell being pressed and the call coming through to the phone. Again not ideal. After one month of usage I would send back if I could and swap for one that comes with a chime unit. I feel eufy should spend a little time and money to make clear, compatible systems or at least allow users to be able to understand what systems go together as it is a bit of a minefield at the moment.

Good piece of kit
This door camera is really good quality is excellent and you can also connect it to Alexa and use that as a doorbell so makes it easier to hear when someone is at the door. Easy to set up and connect to WiFi. Motion detection is good and get alerts when people come near the door. Battery lasts for ages as well.

Great picture quality
Really pleased with this, picture quality is great and notifications come through fast. My only grip is you can't hook it up to solar panels to keep charging like you can with the eufy security cameras.
