Just What We Needed!!
This water fountain, along with the Petlibro automatic feeders have truly been the best purchases I’ve ever made. We originally were hesitant to spend the money, but it has been well worth every penny. If you are hesitant about the expense, our cats love drinking from the fountain AND you get to keep track of just how much they are drinking each day! The size of the fountain is perfect and we don’t have any issues with water splashing outside the unit thanks to the side guards. We looked up the instructional video for assembly which ended up being very straightforward and simple. The fountain and base are both very durable and we’ve had no issues or glitches.

FRESH WATER HELPER FOR DEMANDING KITTIES
I love this device. The cats love it. I'm not sure the felines appreciate being tracked on an app every time they approach to get water; however, it's easy to use, high capacity, easy to clean, and fresh water for the babies every day.Well worth the price tag. Your kitties will thank you!

Extremely Disappointed – Expensive and Useless Product That Doesn’t Work
I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to warn other pet owners. I purchased this cat water fountain specifically for its advertised ability to **track water intake** via smart collar recognition—a feature I considered crucial for early detection of potential health issues in my multi-cat household. Unfortunately, this product has been nothing but a nightmare. After a brief period of functionality (about one day), the fountain stopped working properly. The **weight calibration fails repeatedly**, and no matter how many times I reset the unit and jump through the hoops to reconnect it to my network, it simply will not function as intended. The device is **inconsistent at best, completely broken at worst**.I understood there was a **paid service** to enhance features, but I expected the **core tracking functionality to work out of the box**—it does not. Not only does the fountain no longer track my cats' collars, but it’s now **just an overpriced water bowl**. The smart features, which are the *entire point* of this product, are non-functional.Adding insult to injury, I also purchased **three of the brand’s feeders**, and they too have been a complete disappointment (more on that in their individual reviews). I feel utterly **ripped off**, and deeply regret trusting this brand with my money—and more importantly, my cats' well-being.**Avoid this product. Buy the other brand. Save yourself the frustration and your money.**

Cats Love It
The only reason I gave this a 4 stars is because of the difficulty in the set up, it’s Beverly touchy about the calibration for it being level. Took us a good 20 minutes to get it to calibrate correctly or it just shuts off. Once it was working it’s great, cats love the larger opening and big fountain instead of just a bubble. The other issue is the RFID tags, the collars are pieces of crap & we’ve already had one tag lost. The product itself is great, need better collars and a better way to secure the tags.

We buy the the real ones
In other cat fountains, we have bought off label refill filters. Well this fountain was considerably more so at the outset we bought a set of filters. They are packaged well, keep the fountain clean and flowing and even include a tiny brush for cleaning. However, these models require changing out biweekly. We kind of expect this anyway with a Siberian cat so it doesn’t bother us.Oh! And they also prefer bottled water but not distilled. We use bottled anyway because our municipal is terrible and the reason we decided to spend more on a smart one was the cheap ones burn out within a year.

Doing A Great Job so Far...
This is by far one of the coolest machines I've had and it does a awesome job at monitoring my pet's water intake so far I'm a Happy Customer.

The best way to track how much water your cats are drinking
We've used cat fountains for a number of years now as one way to encourage our cats to drink more water since they usually prefer moving water to stagnant water. This is the first time, though, that we have been able to track approximate water intake for each cat thanks to the RFID collars that are programmed to go with the PETLIBRO fountain. All of our cats have always been rescue cats, so they often are different ages, sometimes with different health problems. The fountain itself is whisper quiet with a stainless-steel drinking tray that collects the water before it drains back down through the filter and gets pumped back up again to the drinking tray on top. Unlike previous water fountains that we have owned, the power cord is plugged into the base, which stays in place, making it easy to lift the main fountain container up off the base without having to drag a power cord behind you when you move it over to the sink for cleaning and refilling. The PETLIBRO app keeps a record of each cat's water intake on your smartphone, making it easy to share that data with your vet. The app also reminds you when it is time to replace the filter to keep the water clean and healthy.

I have a bad experience using these filters.
when I bought a cat fountain, there were filters in the kit. I liked everything, the water was clean. I placed an order to replace the filter. I followed the instructions, I installed the filters, but the next morning the water was covered in foam. I made a return. A few months later, I decided to order again. I installed the filter again according to the instructions. After five days, bubbles began to appear in the form of foam, I decided to change the water and the filter. When I opened the cell in which the filter is located, I saw that everything was covered with pink mold. The metal container felt like it was covered with mucus to the touch. I note that I use bottled water. I do not use tap water. Nothing like this has happened before. There was also mucus in the large container and mold was around the filter that feeds water upwards. So I will not order this filter again. I don't know what the difference is between the filter that comes with the fountain and the filters that are ordered separately.
