Cheap materials, broke after an hour of use.
The link broke after after 5 or 6 holes. Links look like they're cast aluminum maybe. They feel like plastic and are not made for the stresses that a shovel goes through. Do not buy this shovel or any brand that uses these links.

This sand scoop was really easy to put together, once I figured out how to put it together. It would be nice if it came with instructions.It comes with 3 poles for height adjustment. I am 6 feet tall and when I added all 3 poles the handle came up to my forehead. After removing one of the poles it was the perfect height. Everything looks to be well made, the scoop is big and works well. These pictures show the steps I took to put this together.

Rods held together with PLASTIC!
Went out twice and it broke, why would you design this with PLASTIC inserts to hold the METAL???Returning broken!
