Absolutely great for beginners...
These strings are perfect match for my Vault RG1 soloist electric guitar. Shiny, smooth and produce great sound when tuned on my guitar. They are flexible enough to withstand durability threats and the build quality is just great. Great Job D'addario 👍🏻🔥

Strings Stringing

A low guage string that still gives great tone.
The 8-38 guage electric guitar strings displaces the myth that lower guitar strings loose the punch as compared to higher guage strings.Remember it's your amplifiers and effects that determine your sound. Advantages of lower guage strings:1- Are easier to bend.2,- Once it's run in, it stays in tune longer.3-there is less stress on the neck even if you don't use your guitar for sometime.4- Higher guage strings are the culprits for neck distortion whether it's acoustic or electric guitars.5 - I love the 8-38 D'addario.

Best value-for-money electric guitar strings
I have been using D'Addario strings for years now. I used Ernie Ball Slinky before but their price have shot up and not easily available. I got these strings delivered within a day. The quality of the strings is top notch. They don't rust easily and they last long (even during wet seasons). I use them on many guitars with floating bridge tremolo systems (Floyd Rose). They stay in tune and don't snap. D'Addario has colour coded string-ball-ends thats very convenient to identify during guitar stringing process as you have used and new strings mixed up in front of you. Overall - good quality, durable strings that are easy on the pocket (when you have several guitars, expensive strings set could become a setback).

good quality strings
strings are of good quality. i play in drop c on an ibanez sa60. i switched from 10 gauge to 12 and it's kinda difficult to get used to so i prefer 11 gauge for lower tunings

Ok, but not Satisfied..
The tone quality is not that bright. The material is good, Looks like the string is going to last quite long. The 6 string(0.52) makes a buzzing noise if I drop it to below D#, otherwise the tension on the string is quite good(while tuning it to drop C). Over all I will say It 's Average . But the main thing that I didn't like is the pinch harmonics, it barely makes the proper pinch harmonics through passive pickups. So, in conclusion I would like to say that these strings are not quite satisfactory . I can say that these strings are not suitable for metal songs through passive pickups . Those who uses active pickup can go for these strings , you won't be disappointed.
