Hi I'm a noob to these morning powder supplements. This is my second review on this type of product. My first one was of the super green powder drink, this was a part of that bundle.Onto the review. I basically prepared it the same way as the other one I had. The scoop was much smaller and also had to be dug out from deep in the powder. It is a very light tan colored powder and didn't really dissolve well in 8 oz of water. I had to smash the powder clumps against the sides of the cup and alternate stirring to get most of it dissolved.This is when I looked at the directions of the product and it doesn't say to add it to water. So, that being said, this powder is probably best mixed with something else. *shrug*Anyways, I going to review it based on the water mix. So aside from not dissolving well, it seemed like a bouillon powder and smelled kind of reminiscent of one too. Overall, it looks, smells, and tastes somewhat like a watered down broth. Which, since it is mushroom powder, seems kind of reasonable I suppose. The flavor is super bland, almost nonexistent. I can drink it as is, but I think I would be best mixed with anything else that has a flavor.I'll update in the future if I notice any benefits.

Without a lab it's pretty hard to test this stuff, but if I compare it to my other lion's mane supplements it seems pretty good! There's no odd smell, and it mixes in with food about as well as other powdered products I've tried out in the past. My father finds the capsules difficult to take, so I'm always pleased to find a good quality powder as it's pretty easy to mix in with yogurt or coffee in the morning.As far as the effects go, I think it is going to vary wildly between individuals, and that shouldn't factor into the rating of this specific product. In my case, Dad likes it and that's all that matters as he feels it helps the brain fog clear away a bit.So, speaking strictly about quality, I think this is a pretty good product and the price is much better than some other powders (and FAR better than buying capsules). If you're interested in trying out lion's mane for yourself, this is probably an excellent place to start.

I have been taking this inconsistently for several weeks. So far I have not noticed any impacts but I am going to ensure I take it daily moving forward to really see if it helps with anything noticeable. I see lots of ads for lions mane mushroom products on social media these days and it seems to be a popular trend with lots of positive testimonials. I looked into this manufacturer and happy to see they are safe and regulated and have a great track record. I have most commonly been adding this to coffee, but have also put it in oatmeal and even kombucha. You do notice the taste difference but it is not a bad taste.
