ALMOST Perfect EDC fixed blade
This sweet little fixed blade is a fantastic bargain. Materials are top notch, blade steel is good, handle scales are wonderfully ergonomic and comfortable even after an hour of whittling/carving, and the knife is *very* well made. My only nitpick is - you guessed it - the thin sheath. If the sheath were tougher thicker leather, this'd be my new EDC. As it is, the sheath is fine and perfectly functional, but I am gentle with it and make sure there's no chance of extreme transverse pressure. I LOVE that it is made in Ukraine and is clearly a bushcrafting tool with a backstory.

Very nice knife
Man these BPS knives are so nice for the price range. Just like all the you tube reviews say, this knife should be way more expensive. Came well packaged, oiled, very sharp. Great construction, solid hard wood handle that feels great in hand. Fit and finish excellent.Sheath came very nicely constructed. Thick leather. Knife fits snuggly and holds knife in perfect. So happy with this buy.

Worth it!
Fantastic for the price. Nothing fancy, well made, and nicely sized. Sheath is good leather, well stitched and long for this knife so you can really stick it in deeply. All in all I'd recommended this knife to anyone.

Great versatility and value in a knife! No great bargain for the sheath
I picked up this one on a whim. I'm glad I did. The knife is quite impressive. Kinda like a Mora #1 with a subtle guard. The blade is thin and well ground. It came with just a little bit of a burr still hanging on the edge. A minute or two of stropping had it singing right along. I'd say it's an excellent camping knife or EDC. Good for cutting cordage, whittling marshmallow sticks, fuzz sticks, opening Mountain House bags, etc. It is clearly an inexpensive knife, but there is truly no deceit in the matter. I'm paying for inexpensive carbon steel, and unfinished wood handles. No problem there. That's stuff I can improve myself, and I'm happy for the project. Fit and finish overall was very good for the price paid. Blade grinds were quite symmetrical and well done. Handle is comfortable for most hands, at least for short to medium usage. extensive usage would likely find a larger handle a bit more comfortable. Now the sheath...I actually like the design. It can be set up with a paracord dangler, an Ulti-clip, a belt loop made, etc. It's actually a very nice design. But the leather is about as thick as construction paper. It's not a matter of if the sheath pokes through, but when. This sheath is hot trash, but the knife is a good enough value that it deserves something better. kydex, some other leather sheath, etc. In my case, I had an old dangler from a long gone Greco knife that molded in and fit like it was custom made to it. The old sheath can get ya' by in the meantime, but just know that it's not gonna last forever, and be prepared to deal with it.

Great puuko knife
I have several BPS knives and I'm always satisfied. This knife came sharp out of the box, the spine is sharp to strike a ferro rod, beautiful thick leather sheath. I'll carry it as a picked fixed blade after attaching a slim clip. There is no belt loop. Inexpensive and well made

Excellent for cost
Have looked at a lot of the BPS knives, have had a few on my wish list. Was looking for a smaller wood carving knife, and thought for the cost, it would be worth a shot. I was really blown away with this one. It’s a really good size, not too small for what I need. The edge is perfect, grind is even on Both sides, and razor sharp right off the rip. I’m going to sand the handle scales, don’t like the feel of the sealant. That’s my only complaint, and that’s nothing, gives me another project. I can’t think of anything in this price range that is better than this. I own tons of knives from mora, condor, spyderco and everything in between. This is an excellent knife for 25$, I even like the sheath. It’s soft, playable and feels good in the pocket. Not much else to say, should be an excellent carver.

Fun knife!
The Finn Lite is about as small as you can go for a fixed blade, but it’s a totally practical length for most backpacking and camping needs. I’ll take mine on my next canoe trip, where it will be my sole cooking and fire building tool. I imagine it would be a good small game knife as well. The grind is excellent, the steel great, the handle nice and easily improved with a little tlc. Great sheath for a necker or pack/pocket carry. If you’re a Mora fan, want a full tang blade, and find the Garburg overkill for your needs, take a look at this or one of the other knives offered by BPS. They make one that looks like a Companion, only full tang with wood handles and a nice leather sheath—for basically the same price as a Companion! That will be my next purchase.Slava Ukraini!!!
