Beautiful Design for a Practical Purpose
I live in a desert region in West Texas and collecting rainwater is a must to support my backyard plants and save a little on my monthly water bill in the process. This 55-gallon barrel is perfect for the job and the tapered design along with the raised support stand gives good water pressure/flow out the bottom. The molding of the ridged 'bronze' finish has a nice aesthetic to it that varies in places and I love the fact that the spots for potentially daisy-chaining with another barrel are marked but not pre-drilled so that the integrity of the sides remains intact. The removable top fits tightly and has an anti-mosquito mesh intake that is good enough to take the flow of water from my downspout diverter at full 'deluge' levels which sometimes happens with our summer monsoon storms. The brass spigot provided only has a single gasket for the bulkhead seal and the spigot's internal mechanism relies on a rubber gasket mechanism to get a tight closure. Our environment is murder on that type of faucet/spigot so I ended up replacing it with a stopcock-style spigot which produces a higher water flow and a more reliable seal when it's closed over the long term. The barrel fits the included stand perfectly and together they have a surprisingly small overall footprint. I'm very happy with this addition to our rainwater collection arsenal and expect it to give many years of service before it's all said and done.

Attractive and built well.
Seems well made and def attractive. I read many reviews and decided to go with a little more expensive unit because the less expensive one seem to have a lot of leak problems. So far so good.

Ok but there’s a learning curve
Hold water well, lid doesn’t drain due to overflow spout higher than the center of the lid. Overflow drains out under the lid down the sides. I was used to an open water collection pot so the strong swamp odor was a surprise- having to add bleach occasionally, and shunt off first bit of rain so gutter debris doesn’t foul up my water so quickly. Although Faucet does not leak, it does rotate so you have to be gentle handling it.

Nice
Only had them a few days, hasn’t rained yet but I love the way they look. So much more decorative than our old ones.

Works great!
It’s been an extremely hot summer here and my water bill was getting outrageous, so I decided to buy a rain barrel to keep our plants and flowers irrigated at a lower cost. Got this one about a month ago and it’s been working great! Depending on your gutter pipe situation, you may need to purchase a cheap connector or downspout like I did to direct the water into it. Installation was very easy, but I would recommend having two people to attach the spigot. Took my wife and I less than 10 minutes in total to get it set up. It’s well constructed, the included stand props it up to the perfect height to fill a watering can. There's a screen to catch any debris so that it only fills with water. The lid has a spill over area in case you over fill it. Would be pretty easy to attach a hose to the spigot but I haven't done so yet. We got the lightest color to match our siding but I actually think the darker colors look even better from their pictures. We’re very happy with the purchase so far.

Slow to drain?
Product looks nice but it was slow to drain out when I tried to attach the hose. Could have been my hose though. It was one of those stretchy ones that feels like it has a balloon material inside of it. It did spray out faster when I tugged on the hose. Haven’t tried it yet with a normal hose.
