I used this case daily on a recent trip abroad and it suited my needs perfectly. I needed a form-fitted case that was cushioned and non-abrasive to protect the lens and fit inside a camera bag so I chose this one. My camera bag is usually crammed full of accessories and it protected my X4 from getting damaged. The zipper is smooth and doesn't snag or catch. And the feel is nice. Great product.

I bought this item to protect my X4. I was worried that the premium protective lenses were on the “fatter” side. This thing works really well. I’ve put in the rubber protection as well and it still fits. Don’t expect this to fit your under water body housing though, it is not for that purpose. Despite what it can fit in, It’s still compact enough to fit in a small body bag where I put my rigdance paracord wrist strap, insta 360 stand, telescopic wand and a PYGTECH create mate card reader. In other words, it fits my device like a glove. The inner compartment of the item has felt to protect your camera from scratches as well. Really satisfied with this and couldn’t ask for more. Well, maybe if they can make it withstand a 20 feet high fall, that would make it better, but that’s asking for a lot (sarcasm).

I recently purchased the BRDRC Carrying Case for the Insta 360 X4 and X5 (I have the newest, the X5) and I couldn't be more happier. The inside of it is extremly soft, and has a velvet feel to it to give your X5 the needed protection to prevent scratches, scuffing or marring off your expensive investment. It comes with a little lanyard as well to attach to the case, or you could use it to attach to your X5 if you had a cage to go around it.The investment was well worth the money, and I would buy this all over again. I'd highly suggest investing in this case for your X5 if you don't use a cage, but if you do have a cage on it, it won't fit. You could always go the silicone route which would work just fine.
