GSW Premium Fly Tying Kit w/Super AA Vise (Bulk Packaging)

Vice is a little fiddly trying to get it lined up vertically. One of the little nuts on the quick release falls off. I think if I put a drop of locktite on it, it should hold up. It had a little rust on it when I pulled it out of the packaging. I wiped it down with some light machine oil and it looks good now. The hackle pliers that come with it don't grip hackle very well and slips when you least want it to. Scissors, whip finisher, and other tools are nice. I am pretty pleased over all. Everything is usable except maybe the hackle pliers.

Was tired of paying $5-10 just for one steelhead jig, so I ordered this kit to start making my own at a fraction of the cost. So far so good! Watched a few "how to" youtube vids and been tying jigs all winter and love my new hobby. Will I eventually upgrade to better quality? Yes. But this will absolutely get you started and have you tying your own flies and jigs. Very happy with the purchase.

It is a beginner or entry level kit. For the price you get everything advertised. It was everything I needed to tie a jig. Everything worked. A good kit to see if you want to spend the big bucks to tie your own jigs. I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to try out making their own jigs.

Would not recommend - yes I know it's cheap and entry level but still - so a few issues 1. Flimsy 2. Cumbersome to work on small hooks 3. Kit received was not as on a picture

Entry level for sure. More for children just starting out. DOES NOT come with all pieces in description. So cheap not worth my time to mess with returns.
