Having owned a candy store, and having a “licorice wall” I consider myself a connoisseur of licorice—especially black licorice, my favorite!I must say that this licorice may be the best black licorice I’ve ever had! It is thick, soft, tender, tasty, not greasy and not sticky. It’s just right.My only criticism may be—and this is obviously very subjective—is that it might be a little sweet. But not off-putting in any way.If you’re looking for that stuff that smells like ammonia, this ain’t it! This is the good stuff!

Excellent licorice. The flavors are amazing.

Do not buy this crap it is 100% hard as a rock I mean, maybe you could make a craft project out of it building a house or as a tomato cages but it’s definitely not for human consumption

To me these tasted pretty much like twizzlers. Nothing wrong with it but I would just buy twizzlers instead next time. Maybe the other flavors are different but I didn't try them.

I was raised in Amish country. This licorice is good but definitely not remotely worth the absurd price. You get 10 6" pieces for $8. I mentioned this to my parent's Amish friends who have a small store on their farm. They could not believe the price and I had to show them. They were in disbelief. Save your money. It's good but not that good.

I expected better...hardly any flavor, hard and expected not to have all chemicals like regular licorice. Not impressed at all. Barely any smell to them. Not worth the money and freshness is very low
