Works exactly as you’d hope. I have mine on a smart timer so that it runs for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening. Like clockwork.Fan is powerful yet quiet, and the vent opens easily when it’s on. I’ve had it running for about two months straight now, no complaints! Installation was easy.

I gave it 4 stars because whenever i open and close my craft room door(it is a converted shed) the shudders quickly open then shut as if a quick breeze went through it. It isn't to big of an issue for me though as I put painters tape on the outside of the shutters to keep it firmly closed until I am ready to use it. I only use it when doing resin art and I don't do it daily so it works fine for me. We had a massive storm the other day and their was no leaking at all but I'm sure had I not had the painters tape on it the gusts of wind would have opened the shutters repeatedly. Other than that it works great. I specifically bought this one because it has that wire mesh to keep bugs out and other brands didn't have that. The fastest setting is also great and works very well for getting fumes out quickly, my craft space is small, it is 200sqft and this was perfect for this size shed. The slower settings work great if you just want to have it on while working and don't have any fumes built up. It's is pretty quiet even on the fastest setting. I would definitely recommend this vent for a smaller space.

Omg..where have you been all my life. This sucker works Great!!! Long story short, our small apartment bathroom is being shared with 4 people and it get pretty wet and muggy in there after 4 showers. The walls get wet...yuck. So after a few searches, found this exhaust fan, fits right in our window opening. Flip the switch after showering, and Wow this thing sucks out the bathroom air with 2-3 minutes and dries out the bathroom. Its not loud and works great four apartment. It has made our lives much easier. Thank you!! Side note, It happen to come as slightly broken. The plastic screws were broken off and can't seem to hold the metal fan in place. But it worked in our favor as we didn’t need the back flap to open and close while in operation or in motion. We just set it on our window opening and it stays put. The window has a mesh screen and uses as a outside filter.

We purchased this for our lake house. We added it to our shed that has a fridge and ice maker in it. Works great the quality and build are excellent..seems it might work perfect for sidding sheds. Little bit of caulking worked fine.

Fan fits perfectly in casement window. Has great functionality. Moves air great 👍 doesn't use much energy and has good power and is very quiet! Helps remove stall air and bring in cool air to cool down the road.

This is a poorly made machine and I wonder how it managed good reviews in the first place. The fan was broken in the box, but unfortunately I waited to long to inspect it and now I'm stuck with a broken fan. The louvers are poorly designed such that there is a small pin on holding the ends of the louver blades to the casing. These pins all sheared during shipment, but I doubt they would have lasted long even if they weren't broken in shipment, they are that weak.I reached out to Amazon and learned I waited to long, my bad. I reached out to the manufacturer and only got a link to frequently asked questions which were mostly nonsense and did not tell me how to make good on what should be a warranty claim. So, I bought another product instead. It's starting to warm up soon in the Gulf and I need to vent heat out of my greenhouse when it does.
